I thought Mountaintop was annoying.
But oh. my. God.
The linear fusions.
The god damn Arbalest. The stupid-ass Banjo noise coming from literally every lane in existence.
I'm not saying it's OP, but Jesus Christ is it annoying as hell.

The sound itself doesn't bother me, it's how the sound reminds me the whole opposing team are packing one. I'm saying it's a tad bit OP. I can strafe past a snipe well enough. These are not so easy.

It takes less flinch than any weapon in Destiny ever has, even NLB. I'd say about 50% of my engagements with an Arbalest user in which I shot them in the head first, ended in them still doming me. With snipers that happens probably around 10% of the time. It's all luck for the person not using Arbalest It also seems like I'm being domed by pretty average or bad players extremely easily. I've seen several people that look like they can't even really hold their own in Crucible have the confidence to use it from really close ranges and odd angles that are normally very hard shots to pull off. Someone else on here said there was an increase to AA on Linear Fusions, is that true?

5 RepliesThe main problems are the fact they let you stack unflinching and targeting mods and it affects gameplay so much the guy can consistently head shot you regardless of how many shots you got first with your weapon that fires 4 times a second in the case of Symmetry or 15 times a second with Recluse. My biggest problem though is that of ALL THE WEAPONS THEY COULD MAKE A RITUAL/ PINNACLE for, they chose a linear fusion rifle, a weapon type that no one uses unless it's Arbalest or Queenbreaker, and the roles are s*** too. I've gotten Crooked Fangs with better roles, the only thing Komodo has going for it is No Distractions. Unless they turn all linear fusions except Sleeper into special weapons, it's going to see even less use than Hush or both Revoker and Luna/ NF in PVE.

Equip those exotic arms that let you hold bow shot indefinitely Equip all enhanced bow mods (Optional) put light arms dexterity on boots Equip WISHENDER and a energy HC (or any clean up weapon you feel comfortable with...) and end them. Play like an absolute asshole. Crouch all the time while wall hacking and going invis. Made a whole lobby rethink they're strategy last night by using this simple trick. 👍
