41 RepliesPvP should never be the focus of any season. It would make PvP players happy but most players are casual and bought into Destiny for its PvE and social gameplay. If they made the PvP activity casual friendly and handed the rewards out to everyone even upon taking L's, the toxic elitist playerbase would be unhappy anyway.

They are doing things with PvP, just they aren't being totally transparent with exactly what they are doing and planning. That is what I think. They are planning to bring some form of trials back within Y3 I am sure of. The Elimination testing and the way they answers whether trials was returning (during the Shadowkeep QnA) makes me believe that. I hope more stuff is added to pvp. Wish there was like a "Forge" like mode and more customizability in private matches, actual lobbies and map voting, etc. Also, Sorry for all the toxic comments that are saying all this rude shit. All you want is new things for the pvp players and all you are met with is people saying "I didn't buy this game for pvp". They need to realize that there are people who enjoy pvp in this game and want something else there. This game is not only PvE. It is PvE and PvP. PvP absolutely does not ruin this game in my opinion. What does ruin it is the toxic people (like the ones in here).

4 RepliesDestiny's PVP is actually super well balanced and enjoyable if you aren't a raging child who freaks out and quits early. Bungie is afraid of putting anything into PVP because as soon as they do the petulant children come out crying because they "just don't" play PVP.

Actually, they are bringing four maps back from the workbench. I am especially excited to play on Solitude again. They are pulling four more for tweaks. Its a bummer that Vostok will be out of rotation but we'll see. Upcoming information about ritual weapons and the Glory grind. Plenty to do.

The changes to the solar subclasses, specifically saying how they'll function in PvP with no mention of PvE (minus how bottom tree Golden Gun is always paired with Celestial Nighthawk), are not considered tuning the PvP in this game? Just because they said they'd be having renewed focus on PvP in Year 3 doesn't mean that it has to drastically flip the mode into its head by changing everything at once. There were tweaks to PvP when Shadowkeep released, and there's going to be tweaks when Season of Dawn begins. [b]Small steps rather than large leaps[/b]
