I have 4 friends trying to just free roam together and the stupid fireteam limit screws us over. Why is the fireteam limit for free roam not 4-6????????

1 ReplyOut of all the things to complain about, this is the least concerning.
-
They just need to make it six with difficulty levels.
-
Old coding from the game engine designed last generation.
-
We’ve been saying this since destiny 1 beta.
-
Go play gambit
-
It’s because bungie is incapable of making an mmo
-
16 Repliespatrol areas are set for 9 players, 3 teams of 3. It is just how the base coding was set up
-
4 RepliesMaybe because there are three classes in the game and the original idea since D1 was that fireteam is a good balance of a hunter, warlock, titan. Even our vanguard is Cayde, Ikora, Zavala Lore everywhere talks about a fireteam of three Expecting them to change this now, something that has been a normal thing since the beginning of the franchise is just a pipe dream.

10 RepliesEdited by rZI3: 12/2/2019 5:33:31 PMLOL 😂 And you’ve been a member of bungie.net for four years.... And as you played d1, you’d musta figured it was the same.... “Jacobie656” Shit bait btw potato

Because it's not a MMO.
-
2 RepliesBecause MMOs can’t hold that many people in an instance ... wait ...
-
8 RepliesNext youre going to ask why is voice communication turned off by default in a game based around fireteams. Jesus Christ man what do you expect from a 2 bit garden shed dev team.
-
3 RepliesYou have chosen the wrong game. Please move along and find something else to play. Nothing to see here.
-
1 ReplyBecause apparently whoever is in charge doesn't believe in accessibility or common sense.

There are lots of reasons Bungie sucks. I'm sure you'll find more.
-
It's been like that since D1. Not sure why, but there might be some internal reasoning behind it (but probably not).
-
When they announced New Light, we all knew this issue would rise again. You should know how long people have been complaining about it. Bungie isn't going to change.
-
You could actually launch the VoG raid in D1 and then just leave the entrance and run around in a 6 man group. Was pretty fun.

Edited by Lost Sols: 12/2/2019 12:06:01 PMYou can cheese more players into a zone, but the fireteam hosts have to stay in that zone together once you have the fireteams together. You can do it a few ways, if you have two players from the same region, have one sit in a zone and the other fast travel to that zone repeatedly until hopefully they land in the same one, then each can invite up to two more. This works really well if you have two accounts in one house or two friends in the same city or state. If the hosts are in the same region, odds are they will be able to get matched in the same zone eventually. The other way is to ask a random in the area to invite one of your friends and make them the host. Then you again have two fireteams in the same area.

Umm I'm going to say they need money. If you help just a little then maybe and that's a Big MAYBE. they'll add it.
