So where is the buff to Warlock melee speed?

The buffs and reworks to top tree are great, but you still haven’t fixed our melee speed to compete against Hunters and Titans, especially since in certain situations with certain exotics and mods they can out damage AND out range warlock melees.     • Out damage with Melee ability. Normal melee is same damage for everyone. But yea warlock Melee speed sucks

            • They won't acknowledge it, and the changes to solar warlocks are mediocre at best. We have to consume a grenade to even get benefits from a perk on the tree, that's pathetic.

              • Nah they just nerf the 1 good offensive solar super in a feeble attempt to make the top tree seem better. Sadly it wont be cause aim assist on weapons is so damn high and with OHK snipers, RL with tracking.. That entire top tree needs to go. It was a failure from launch. Dont get me started on that ridiculous looking exotic chest piece either.. just atrocious. So yeah Warlocks got nerfed, again .. not a single actual buff...

              • ive made a post about it everyday for the past 2 years. even had a post with 500 upvotes. nothing silence. they dont care about warlocks, just what ever makes hunters and titans happy.

                • I found it. You have to buy 5 copies of the cookbook, in the 5th copy they send there is a QR code somewhere withing the pages printed in invisble ink must like the one used in the first National Treasure movie. Bungie cant afford to make changes like this right now so you have to buy the cookbook and pay for it 🤷‍♂️

                    Agree with this completely. The typical hater response this usually gets is "warlocks have Hand Held Supernova", which is on exactly one tree of one element of one class vs every single Titan elemental subclass having access to a shoulder charge build. HHS is also on a huge cool down vs SC which can be basically spammed with virtually no CD. I've given a lot of feedback on this as well and had direct discussions with devs about it. I don't know if we'll see change, but most Warlock subclasses play at a disadvantage vs Titans and Hunters because their ancillary abilities are much more offensive abilities and it gives them much stronger neutral games. Rifts are worthless outside of very passive non-combat scenarios vs barricades and dodge which are both extremely effective mid-combat. No one is in a fight and throwing down a rift and living through the animation and even when in a full rift, you don't take any more shots to kill. Imo Warlocks should have their base melee range and speed restored to what it was in D1 because that's what balanced them with the other classes' advantages and as has been pointed out repeatedly, warlocks have the slowest base melee in the game. Unless you pair it with landing a weapon blow + melee combo, odds are you lose 90% of melee 1v1s just because the other classes can hit faster. Hope Bungie see your post, thank you.

                    • It's the same place that the buff hunter mobility that we've been waiting on. The hunter has been blatantly stated to be the speed and mobility class yet more than half the time I'm being and have seen hunters out ran by titans and warlocks. I also regularly see and have been in the situation where the fireteam is waiting on me or another hunter to catch up because of this problem.

                      • Ya hunter might be faster but thats the way they are designed hunter speed and stealth, titan power and defense, warlock has esp can telaport and I'm sure a few other things. Whats with the lightning coming out of your hands do your strikes cause a status effect? Besides warlocks arent supose to hit fast or hard, if you want that play hunter or titan. I just started getting into my warlock character so I am not clear on all the abilities but I know as a hunter when I get into a fist fight in crucible I usually die it takes 2 to 3 hits to take a toon out with full shield and health your suppose to wear them dowm and finish with a melee thats why the finishing move is a melee ability. Quit crying and improve your gane bud.
