I remember when titles were first added into the game and they were decently exciting to chase, but now I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall trying to get these stupid quests done just for the title. I'm a dedicated hardcore and even I am hating the grind more than normal. Just the strikes quest alone took days of literally playing the ordeal over and over again. I'd do legend or master but I only have play time between midnight and 4 am so my clan and friends are never on. But at least other seasons allowed the strike playlist for grinds, being forced into doing score objectives on EVERY quest part is just tedious and lazy. Every step was just the same thing over again but with a different attunement. I was really hoping for something outside of just strikes. Why not have bounties completed, patrols and public events completed, etc. At least that way I can do it passively. And then moving into the crucible one makes me want to quit this game. I hate crucible with a burning passion and have since D1, but at least back then it was not forced so much. Now it is part of almost every quest in the game and has really gotten tiring. Not to mention the fact that it seems to take forever, but what's worse, the Reconnaissance by fire quest is total BS. I get 3 guys down 90% of their health and someone else gets the kills with one shot each and I get 0% progress. I Just finished a match earlier where I probably nearly killed players about 20 times and either got 2 capped back or had a teammate finish them off. It's infuriating to spend so many hours in a game mode I hate just for that title. It doesn't even need to have crucible or gambit, Hell, Gambit had a whole season to itself and now I'm forced to play another 30 matches? Come on. I want to have fun in this game but as it turns out, having fun in Destiny tends to mean you don't get any titles or the likes. You only get those if you bore yourself to death.
