Nerf Recluse
By far the most crutch weapon in Destiny’s history. Never have I seen people crutch a weapon in PvE so hard that their life depended on it. This weapon needs to be nerfed into the GROUND, there is no excuse for a weapon this over powered to exist in the game. It’s a crutch for every single bad player in the game. I cannot stand it, it makes trash players look like and think they’re gods at the game, but when they take off the Recluse their true colors show and they’re not really that good to begin with. Weapons should reward the player for doing good at a certain aspect, they should make you better based on how you play and playing to that weapons strengths. Recluse is just a crutch that rewards inaccuracy, undisciplined action and stupidity. Anyone who defends this gun baffles me, and you must be too in love with your crutch to see it’s ruining the state of the game.

3 RepliesWell let's make it reward Accuracy and skill. Here is a proposal to change how "Master of Arms" works. It can still be activated from kills with other weapons but, it has to be a Crit kill. You want to use the Recluse the best way possible, get your crit kills. Master of Arms can only be activated with crit kills. Just by doing this slight adjustment, it basically ends the Mountain Top + Recluse combo instantly and it makes it more of a skilled weapon to use. You want to keep mowing down things like it's nobodies business? Land your crits because all body shots will do is give you feeding frenzy.

It doesn’t need a nerf in PvE, it’s a pinnacle weapon so it’s meant to be good but what you don’t realise is it can be competed with relatively easily with stuff like spare rations. Yes it’s better than Tarrabah, that is also because the gun isn’t particularly great by itself already. Outbreak shits on it in terms of DPS when it comes to either majors or adds. inb4 I’m crutching on a weapon I don’t own and I’m a worthless loser with no skill

Anyone making the Pinnacle argument is dumb. Make that argument for the Luna’s Howl, it’s a Pinnacle Weapon, so why isn’t it melting majors and elites in PvE as well by only hitting body shots??? And I love to see all the trash players crying about the only weapon they know how to use getting nerfed. Absolutely ridiculous, Bungie shouldn’t ever listen to people like you. You’re the same people saying One Eyed Mask isn’t powerful enough, “How dare Bungie take away my ability to have wall hacks, regenerate health, have an over shield, and extra damage in every gun fight just by them simply looking at me!!!”

It is good but has its range limitations. 2nd of all calm down, you are worrying about the skill gap in pve, this isn't Fortnite world cup, you don't have to sweat your ass 24/7. 3rd and lastly, why punish everyone who got it when we can have the damage perk changes revert to pre shadowkeep making something like a spare rations just as effective as an option. In conclusion FIX BREAKNECK, NO ONE WANTED IT NERFED.
