It increases your speed about the same as +10 mobility points, although this change is not shown in the UI. I've tested it myself. So, having two Traction mods could potentially be equivalent to +15 mobility, and I would definitely like to have that option since Armor2.0 has less options to play with your statbuild than the two previous systems.

1 ReplyIs it really so hard for you guys to just do what the community want: REMOVE AFFINITY? Are you out of touch to your playerbase? Or is it what the trashstreamers are whispering to your ears? There is no freedom in creating builds even when your lovely fulltime "hard working" streamerboys are saying that. You don´t have to explain it to me why you created that boring system. I just want it to be removed. Just stop creating another bullshit system and listen at least once to your community.

Is there any logical reason you guys insisted on removing the only "fun" mods from the NF challenge card (Five of Swords)? Other than the whole "elitists sez 2 E-Z" bull$#!t. Pretty $#itty if you ask me, considering the [b]Legacy[/b] Night Fall isn't even a "Pinnacle" activity now.... On second thought, I guess I answered my own question when I said [b]FUN[/b]. I know I won my Shadow Keep and season pass, but I wish I could give it away at this point. Soloing the NF was one of the last enjoyable things for me to do in this game, and since you've seen fit to crap on that aspect too, there isn't much left, other than to say piss off. Sincerely yours, a long time fan you ultimately alienated.

We don't CARE if there's too much to see - in fact, just reduce the number of useless mods! We did fine with the original armor system and would not NEED most of the crap in Armor 2.0 if you had not NERFED the hell our of all our supers/abilities. This guardian is disgusted with the changes to abilities and armor in Season 8. P.S. - I did want to give one piece of positive feedback - I like the ability to apply ornaments to any legendary gear, but you need to deepen the pool of ornaments to include faction armor and all IB ornaments.

Is anyone at Bungie discussing the possibility that you all might of overnerfed this game? When you have LVL 960+ streamer fan boys hiding in corners to complete a nightfall the message sent is, why the heck do that kind of grinding nonsense for a couple of shards and maybe a +1. The grind is insane, the sci-fi power fantasy is gone, and the rewards are stingy.

6 RepliesExplaining why you made affinity the way you did doesnt help much. Your saying "play the way you want" while in the same breath saying "so long as its this way that weve chosen for you" Its just another grind layer. Especially on exotics that you dont get to really grind for. So i need a piece or armor that rolls high (60+), with those stats in the right slots but have the wrong affinity making it useless to me as a good roll. And hopefully its an armor set i happen to like the looks of (i could run ornaments. But lets assume i want the look of a different set) its alot of variables.

Armour 2.0 is like the Infusion/Enhancement core issue all over again. Bungie took a cool feature, which should have been relatively simple to implement, and instead decided to make it one of the most in-user friendly experiences ever. It’s like someone on the design team deliberately builds these things to be as complicated ( and infuriating ) as possible. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, you can have depth, and accessibility, the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.
