No errors whatsoever just freezes after trying to sign in then crashes

Edited by ElChO: 10/4/2019 1:46:38 AMSame issue here, Game crash to desktop in startup, even with a new steam acc with no friends Its not related to Friends list because i have less than 300
-
I'm not going to remove hundreds of people that I've added on Steam, just to play this game. Hopefully Bungie is going to fix this issue asap.
-
Same here! So sad..
-
There's a quasi workaround to the friends list issue. If you don't want to delete friends, you can block until you're below 300 instead. Blocking sounds worse, but it doesn't remove people from your friends list. So whenever Bungie fixes this, you can just go back in and unblock them and it will be like nothing happened. No tracking down people you kicked off your friends list.

15 RepliesHi there, Thanks for your report. Destiny 2 services are currently seeing a high volume of traffic that could be interfering with certain processes. Please try again later.
-
I have the same problem
-
Same here, i have 0 friends on Steam and the game still freezes after sign in. Bungie save us.

Edited by DEZMOND: 10/3/2019 3:23:03 AMThis is so wierd!! but i can confirm you have to have something around 300 friends on steam me and my friend had 400+ we removed until 300 and then VOILA no crashing!!!
-
2 RepliesSame thing here no message and just crashes
-
Same here any update on this? I don't want to have to resort to removing nearly 200 friends.
-
15 RepliesTHE FIX IS LOWERING FRIENDS ON STEAM TO BELOW 300. I had over 300 friends on steam, i removed few and get down to around 299. Now the crashes are gone!

Edited by MrHelpless: 10/2/2019 3:12:08 PMSame problem for me but my game is only crashing every time after the second screen after that one where you have to press enter and after 10 min nothing changes. But i don't get an error log. And i don't want to delet 1167 friends
-
Yup same -blam!-ing issue. Any resolution other than deleting my friends? Wtf is being done with the friends list that would cause this anyway. Could just not import the entire steam friends into the game....

REMOVING FRIENDS REALLY WORKS!
-
1 ReplyREMOVE YOUR FRIENDS LIST UNDER THE 300
-

1 ReplyMe too!!!The persona interface collapsed before I saw it, and I could play normally by replacing a brand new steam account.
-
1 ReplySame issue, it's something to do with our accounts/licencing My friends account works on my PC, but my account doesn't work on his PC or my PC.
-
1 ReplyGuys, i just want to clarify something.. Do you have FRIENDLIST more than 300 at STEAM?? some people said that, this is the problem of crashing, idk if this is true or not, but i just want to ask before removing some of my friendlist.
