So what I’m reading and seeing is pay to win? I was ok but not happy with the season pass for tire style thing, but being able to buy rank up packages that contain armor and weapons and EVEN exotic gear? Yeh that’s really not cool.

25 RepliesIf I'm reading this right the new seasons are banking on FOMO ???? We already know it will be a glitchy heap of dung when released but now if we wait to get in after "some" fixes are made we will miss out entirely. Shady stuff...

4 RepliesCan someone help me better understand the season pass? I don’t really play games with battle passes, so I’m not too sure of how they work for paying customers. Will the D2 season pass be prorated later in the season? I’m not asking because I have an issue with $10 a season, as I think that that’s reasonable. But what if someone starts off playing for free, and they’re earning their ranks and what not, and say they reach Rank 50 a month or so into the season. What happens when they purchase the season pass at that point (Rank 50, for example), considering they already have earned items that SP owners received much earlier? I believe in one of the recent blog posts, Luke Smith mentioned free players receive a complete armor set at Rank 25, but paid players get it at Rank 1. So if I’ve earned some of the content through playing that paying customers would’ve gotten much earlier, am I still charged the full amount even though I only have 50 more ranks to achieve? And will I automatically be given access to any bonus items or resources from earlier Ranks, even if I’ve already achieved them? Are you just essentially paying for the remaining ranks and bonus SP items at that point? And if that’s the case, will it be prorated, considering you already have items from the previous 50 ranks, or will it be $10 regardless of whether you have the SP from day one, or if you were to buy it on the last day? I know the $10 also includes the new matchmade activity as well, and some Eververse items. So I guess I’m also wondering what we’re paying for. Is it access to the activity and the exclusive Eververse items? Or is it also the Ranks, because again, at that point with the ranks, shouldn’t the pass be prorated? I’m sure this is all really simple and I’m overlooking things. Please help me understand...

https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/48097
We need Joseph Statin back to save Destiny.

I read between the lines ! It says completely recycle the one or two zones we are going to give you for an entire year again . Making it change every season instead of week like The Dreaming City . Small crappy “content” drops meaning just a little bit of gear and a couple exotics here and there , Busy work events with no story or depth . All the while surviving off the Lame Eververse content yet again . Because designing things is hard waaahhh waaaaahhh waaahhhh !!! Activision did the right thing when they cut you lazy turds loose lmfao

1 ReplySince we are guardians power is getting toned down some (which I understand we're insanely powerful as it is ) .. bungie you should really think about putting stomp mechanics on the back burner or at least put them on a cool down .. it's gotten to the point that bosses stomp every 3 seconds .. Been grinding gambit prime for a great spare rations which with the amount of perks doesn't feel likely , but been using 1,2 punch against the primeval or the big yellow and most of the time your stomped back before you get the punch off, and they knock you so far back across the map which is ridiculous that time you get back they stomp you again .. This is a very bad and lazy mechanic to give every none red bar an attack like this .. I mean hydras don't even have legs and they are stomping us into the wall on the other side of the map .. there are clips of players having fun with a boss stomping them so far they get into places they aren't supposed to .. This mechanic is making shotguns in pve not even a fun option .. I've almost entirely switch to fusion rifles .. and don't get me wrong I love my epicurian, and loaded question but it would be nice just because I decide to get close I don't get knocked back a football field I length and take damage as well

14 RepliesWhy on earth is there a battle pass that rewards weapons and armor in a looter shooter? How does that make any friggen sense? Jesus.

It appears Shadowkeep was an effort to redesign monetization with the Battle Pass and Eververse. Obviously I don’t know for sure, but it looks like Bungie has chosen the fork in the road to maximize the finale of the Destiny franchise. I’m not saying Destiny is dead or any of that other common forum chatter. I mean, everything runs its course. Corporations must squeeze every last dollar out of a product in order to fund the next😁

9 RepliesYou could just let destiny 2 die off with no more content and focus on destiny 3. Instead it just seems to be shallow money sucking content.

So much for that live stream after Activision left and you said you could now do things your way, the Bungie way. So much for Activision holding you back, from what, Eververse, because that seems to be the only thing where you put any imagination into the game anymore. The messages coming out of Bungie are damn sight confusing. Is there any order from within that company?

Your corporate leaders should be ashamed of themselves like never before for these predatory schemes. Keep it up Bungie.

Bungalos this is all well and good but y'all need to add a version of Gambit that's basically a MOBA except first-person.
