Solstice gear now tracks a characters progress for the armor on the armor itself rather than that character individually. This was to prevent a glitch that happened with the previous solstice gear when transferring it over to another character of the same class which completely halted progression and there was nothing you could do about it. Deleting the gear deleted all progress made on that specific gear, every new piece you take out from Collections will be a new piece that needs to be completed, even of you have already completed it.

yeah i got two characters masterworked and when i go to turn the blues in to the statue there is no meditate button... there just isn't..k, so i figure thats fine ill just unequip the blues real quick and delete them so i can pull them right back out of collections since now every piece is in recently discovered right there on my screen plus I want my resilience mod back from the bond which they don't transfer from the blue to the purple so anyway ,(totally done with all the steps on the gear mind you and I was wearing them yet no meditate button no matter where I stand even if I go to orbit go die somewhere restore license restart ps4 unplug ps4 delete and redownload game no), as I was saying anyway after I pulled them back out of collections EVERY piece of gear progress got completely reset even though it was completed...… so yeah I tried all the above. I just wasted a month of my time and my life getting to the very final step of masterworking all three characters and I get a complete reset of the hardest most tedious time consuming part of the questline the blues on my FINAL CHARACTER and COMPLETE SOLSTICE EVENT 100 percent completion.... I mean really? Really?.....No really? How would you feel and what would you expect if this personally occurred to you? I would imagine you can see where im coming from. Please either give me a time machine so I can spend time with my family instead of getting..well..you know what , after an entire month of time spent grinding this event. Or my blue armor completion on my warlock whichever one is something that can be done by someone who knows what they are doing. I have played supported and bought every piece of content since the birth of the destiny franchise but after reinstalling and still not being able to complete the event due to a gameplay error of some sort because of a statue I couldn't press square on after all this time wasted this month, I have uninstalled once again. The ability to access and alter players accounts is clearly here I see. It doesn't always have to be to the players deficit. I apologize for my rude condescending approach but can I ask if you would please escalate this issue to the next level of authority beyond your authority addressed by admin moderator or someone other than bungie and/or the team that is assigned to these specific types of tasks. You didn't get your progress reset, you deleted your completed gear, and pulled incomplete gear from your collection. There is no bug in your progress, and Bungie will not restore your progress. Did you they meditating, even if the prompt didn't appear.
