Blackout with the Knights is the worst
I'm not saying it can't be done, but I've failed twice now and I'm not going in a third time. Won't be completing that weekly challenge unfortunately.

7 RepliesI'm assuming you're referring to the Reckoning bosses. If I'm incorrect, disregard the following. When it comes to blackout, why does everyone seem to have this sheep mentality where you just stand still and let them rush you until everyone on the fireteam is dead? It's blackout. You [i]know[/i] they one-shot even in a well. You know when they're going to attack because they have to get close to attack. Just..idk, move? Sounds really shitty but like...you can simply stay out of their range. You don't have to stand in the well of light thing to do damage, nor do you have to stand there until the knights kill you. They get too close? Time to move.

If it's not prism + heavyweight, I'm not doing it because it's unplayable otherwise - except for maybe the elite 0.02% of the population. Having ultras with strike boss health spawning every 10 seconds while being swarmed by 70 thrall & getting sniped by a dozen vandals with aimbots sounds like something Bungie would create for streamers to flex.

I think thrawls are worse with blackout but that’s my 2 cents 😂

It's possible, even on four titans, but... It is so much PITA to do. Unless it's revelry. Which it isn't. :( I think Blaclout+any melee hoard (meaning vast majority of "new" game modes) is least fun to experience.

I recommend learning to play the game. With or without blackout you are most likely going to die to 1 hit from the knights. The key is t ok do damage until they get to you then switch to the next light pool. Also grenade launchers will kill the knights in a matter of seconds in 1 light pool.

Worst case scenario you have to run 4 for a notorious helmet or the like quest and don’t have any other day to play! In which case I’m sorry. Destiny is not for you. Destiny is made for people who wait for the days that have easy modifiers.

AWOL DJ You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Burst damage for a few seconds and GTFO. Concentrate on one knight at a time because you’re screwed if you have two speedy bois coming for you.

2 RepliesFor what activity? If you are talking about heroic managerie yes having black out iron is a death sentence. Just kill the first two knight and the shrieked and wait back don’t attempt the ogres.

It’s tough for us solo players. It only takes 1-2 dopes to mess up the entire activity. That’s why the reckoning usually ends up being a waste of time.

Myself and my fireteam did tier 3 for the first time with said modifiers. Almost all of us were able to get the emblem lol. You need two wells, a tether, and whatever else. Usually we'd one phase them with Swarms. If not, get out of their asap, kill a few thrall on the way to the next hermit, melt him and last knight is a breeze. It's not the modifiers, it's your teammates.

I think heroic menagerie with blackout it worse, but reckoning is still pretty bad.
