It’s more like a ‘I understand why it’s the only fusion rifle used in the crucible’ suggestion.

I'd argue it's because other FR archetypes are just bad, because they can't do the one job they are supposed to do, which is get rid of shotgunners who try to close the gap using Chaperone or some other high range slug shotgun while wearing St0mp335 and max mobility.

Other fusions need a little buff yes, but no fusion should absolutely map someone like erentil does. They can creep into pulse rifle range, especially on pc.

Not when There is a far more consistent alternative.

I’ve gotta be nearing 20000 kills with sidearms. Sidearms are in a fine spot.
