This has nothing to do with making shadowkeep any better. The engine Bungie uses is extremely time consuming and difficult to use. It’s been well documented. 2 weeks is merely to put distance from borderlands 3 and to rework new light free to play and work on cross-save. 🙄

Edited by Necrogen: 8/8/2019 7:45:21 PMyou know if they use cheaper resources and charge a x amount they would make more of a profit to work on more projects whereas if they use a more expensive resources they would end up having to charge us more to prevent deficit..... like I know you guys love to throw out these little quips like you're trying to be Sly or something but it's unnecessary. Bungie is a business and they will do what they have to do to make money and if it means that they use a cheaper engine then so be it but understand that if they make the game better the games going to cost more.

Bungie has a poor content pipeline. Jason Schrier's articles on the complete incompetence of bungie are well sourced and undisputed. Fanboy simplton.

So y are you here leave them to it save yourself the time waste

*sees someone making intelligible and reasonable arguments* Ooo! Let me say something to make fun of him instead because I have nothing great to say. *Calls someone a fanboy or some crap.* That's you.
-
You got him dude, your argument was inarguable. You showed him
-
Thanks! I like the part where I did not engage in an argument with him and just observed and paraphrased what he was doing.
-
Me too, that was my favourite part. Im glad theres people of your intellect in this stupid dumb community.
-
I referred you to widespread proof that your point was completely moot. You responded with a temper tantrum in the form of rushed text vomit. You are just wrong on both counts now, plain and simple.
-
*continues to personally attack and doubles down on his statements as if to impress the audience* He's trying to respond back to me? How dare he! I'm going to continue to make fun of him. That's you.
-
Do you have a point to make or are you just going to keep repeating "that's you"? You seem to have no real knowledge about what you tried to assert in the first place, so instead, like a child, you think your best chance to save face is to put your fingers in your ears and scream. No one has to respect your Ill conceived opinions.

He's going for the triple down folks. What more can he possible do?!

Edited by SNAAAKE: 8/8/2019 10:41:06 PMI see you desperately need the last word so I'll let you have it. I just urge you to reread your embarrassing responses. You expose youself as a person who clearly thinks they're more clever than reality permits them.

Points for effort 👏🏻👏🏻

Cost of doing business. If you want a quality product then use quality tools. The game has to b worth the money in the first place. It’s true that Bungie is using a severely outdated engine. This isn’t the same Bungie that built a game from the engine up like they did with the Halo series. I forget where I saw, but there was a quote from someone at Bungie where they said it takes roughly 5 hour just to render and pull up what ever it is they want to work on. Which is why fixes are so few and far between
-
these fanboy snowflakes forget that there are other companies showing how its done properly with smaller budgets and no microtrasnactions he is a perfect customer, getting milked with a subpar product not even realizing it
-
Which games are you referring to? Just curious. I’m just trying to see if that statement is even relevant.
-
any games without microtransactions
-
So you don’t have relevant examples. Good to know.
-
destiny1 before TTK DLC ;)
-
Again, I said relevant examples. Not old ones.
-
That's an interesting tidbit. In regards to the engine? If they update it i wonder what would happen? Surely they won't and save it for D3.
-
Doubt they can do anything for D2 but they need to do something for D3. Using the same engine just updated isn’t going to work going into the next console generation. If they insist on just upgrading the same engine then we will start to see Destiny go in the same direction that Fallout is. At launch of D2 there was bugs and exploits (some are still present) that were also present in D1 do to them just building on what they had back when TTK was released. They basically already said that D2 isn’t going to b sustainable for too much longer due to the amount of space all the updates will b taking out. If they just polish D2 and push it out as D3 then it’s going to b as poorly received as Fallout 76
