you do understand that the "3 riven cluster cheese and the queenswalk" "meta" is the result of a very tiresome loot economy? in fact the whole "MUST kwtd 10054273+ full clears minumum, must have emblem or kick" thing is a statement that "raiding" has become a chore instead of a pleasurable activity.. i mean bungie started to get back on track with the menagerie and how its done . but they need to tweak their raids to have TWO versions like they did before.. one normal and one heroic.. and in the normla version there needs to be "normal" gear with some perks that makes it easier to raid the hard mode and there needs to be the normal unlimited revive system so they need to remove the tokens.. so that more people are tempted to even try the raid.. at the moment its such a high threshold to get into a raid.. and i am NOT talking about the raid difficulty.. SOTP has been speedrun in under 8 minutes.. and the current raid has already been three manned (on PC, where the controls work WAY better) .. the threshold to get into the raid is the LFG requirements that aim to make sure the time raiding is not wasted and the group can get to the end without failing to often.. i was LOVING raiding in Wrath of the machine and i was occasionally enjoying to try solo the crotas end raid. just to see if i can.. but the current raids are all centered around knowledge and learning by heart what to do .. they are not skill intensive.. just have decent (as in "the correct " ) gear and you are good, but you need to know where to stand and where the enemies appear next.. thats void of surprises and tension once you mastered this.. and i am not really looking foward to doing the raid, not because it dread the raid itself but the tiresome process to find a team to try.. (and no, a clan doesnt help here.. i tried several and they all had the same issue except one where you HAD to raid every tuesday , and thats where i quit because i dont play on a shedule )
