"Bungie's culture is a slightly irreverent attitude, and not corporate, bureaucratic, or business focused"
- Marty O'Donnell 2007
I miss that Bungie.
I still remember the feeling of Halo. The game was so much more. I remember getting cozy on a cold winter night just to play with my friends and have a great time. I believe in Bungie now, It will get better. Yet, how can we forget the old Bungie?

It wasn't like playing a game today. It wasn't like dealing with 343's forums or a developer that was 'above' talking to, scratch that, 'with' their game's players. The Community on B.net was relatively cohesive, unified in more aspects than not, and all here together rarely complaining about the game itself. Despite the very recent revival of the ninjas and at least a little contributions here from a couple of the webteam, this place has not been anything like what B.old was. Marty had his own private group that he participated with!!!!!!!! We played with and against Bungie employees. Heck, I stuck an employee in the face with a spike grenade, and assassinated another while in mid air. All those screen shots lost.... That has and will never happen with the current regime.

RIP b.old

I remember playing with Recon Number 54 and others in B.old. Bungie truly was a family then.

It's such a shame that people like Recon Number 54 cant even post on the forums anymore. They were such a big part of the bungie.net community.

Now they’re doing a 180
