It may be our attempt to remake rose, like how malfeasance was our attempt to remake Thorn, and thy have similar bodies, while the new one looks like a light version.

That was a leak, which can't always be trusted and/or is subject to change (that was another while ago). Who knows though, this is the "season of secrets", so it's very possible it's another hidden exotic. If they DO introduce it, I hope it involves some type of quest to "cleanse" Thorn, which would be cool. How crazy would it be if we had to choose either Thorn or Rose, like we lose Thorn if we choose to cleanse it. That won't happen, but it would be right in line with decisions like the alligiance quest lol.

The cleansing idea is a cool one, but like I said in other posts it's probably us making a new rose like we made a new Thorn with malfeasance
