It's important to remember that you paid ~$12 for the entire season

1 ReplyFun vs challenging game. Define each term, please. Who should be entitled with the correct, authoritative definition? Nerf vs Buff vs balance Being creative or reaction Do the homework or lazy doing the minimum. Spread the ads vs all in the same location or nerf super restoring armor. Bosses with creative movement or the same stomp. Exotic with situational use or useless. We have paid for the game as advertised, and spend hours to get a special powerful weapon, then nurf the gun(ie. Sleeper Stimulant), making the job done useless and our time and money wasted. Instead of enemies with better mechanics, movements, being creative, etc. Too lazy for the money already received. It's better to make all the weapons useless, using cotton balls as bullets. That's somebody's else definition of fun and challenging. Meaning, it's more time to kill, more time to stream a games, more income in advertising, etc. Do we like the same loop? All balanced to the ground, 2-5 powerful weapons advertised and time consuming quests related, and luck related exotic armors, feel powerful; go to line 1 or repeat loop or routine. They give you a toy for the money paid, then they break the toy to make you play with the toys they want, with the strategy they want you to use. Control freaks... Is that the authoritative, unique definition of fun or challenge? Please, check the comments section here, if you want: Destiny 2 Nerfing Everything" on YouTube: https://youtu.be/WqRS6wG8jzE Boycott streamers, unsubscribe. Let's see how much they don't care. Don't pre-order ever again. Let's see how much Bungie doesn't care.

52 RepliesThe extreme focus on the raid is troublesome, I dont understand. Clans are dead. On PS4, only 2.6% of players have beat last wish. Raids are a waste of resources. Not only that, bungie further disservices itself by hyping it as an event which incentivizes the community to take part by... watching? Which is stupid because you can only experience new content once... that first time! After experiencing the raid second hand,I'd guess 85% are done. All this thought and manipulation for a couple hours of Bungies viewing pleasure so they can clap themselves on the back and celebrate the great state of the game. Hey, you know why bungie wont discuss cores? Because if they removed cores everyone would be running around with 3 masterworked weapons creating orbs and guitar errors breaking the game ! That's why skull and rigs are being nerfd... They have to. D2 was designed 4v4, small maps, limited abilities. The most stable destiny, but when the players balked everything got turned up to 12. Exotics got powerful to counterbalance blase supers. Orbs lying about the ground trigger game-breaking codes. Hence the nerfs and impactful cores. And now Tess's engrams are gonna feature, 'been there done that' Y1 stock? Yipee!??? I guess. Not my idea of oppulence.

Looking at the way it will begin, I think it's more like Season of Streamers.

120 RepliesBungie, once again, pushing out content without fixing the game's foundational problems.

"Season of Nerfs and Greed"

Lmao it's so true, the haven't said anything about it past the raid

1 ReplyNew seasons and new content should be designed around getting many of the players who left to come back. A new raid is great, but the gaming experience of the hardcore is funded on the backs of the "casuals" and mid-cores. The store purchases will go up as the player base goes up, and so-called casuals may not have to patience to go for every engram in a season - so they buy more from the store. The hardcore is the beneficiary of all those that 14 million that bought the game but left. If they are going to leave, let them leave happy, so that when the new content in the fall comes, many will want to get out their wallets and come back. The problem is that many have left disgruntled and with resentment over Bungie's decisions and very poor stewardship of the game over the last couple of seasons and even with Forsaken. Clearly many leave when the content becomes less accessible (those with no dedicated team to pvp or raid, lack of challenging routes for those that prefer to play solo). Also, with the upcoming season of the nerfs, even more will leave. These are the players that want to come back, but won't, as they feel somewhat abused (battered spouse syndrome). So much of what Bungie will do in the future will be based on the revenue streams of today. At some point, the pressure will start to raise (no more Activision back-stop), and the overall new content will have to appeal to more than a small percentage of the player base. They'll be forced to humble themselves and try to get some of that 14 million back.

3 RepliesNo, it doesn’t sound like bullshit. It is bullshit.

3 RepliesI don't know. Theres a lot of potential in this season. Whether they nail it or not is a different story. SIVA probably is coming back Leviathan patrol zone is kinda likely The new 6 person activity sounds cool New exotics Etc. It just sucks because still no word on trials, factions, arms week, crucible maps, and strikes.

Edited by CookieNiki: 5/26/2019 5:18:57 PM
Season of Opulence is starting to sound like season of Bullshit
You mean... it's gonna be like all previous seasons and the one we still are? I'll try that next season because I've (unfortunately) payed for it but what's most important is that I'm replaying the "Season of Borderlands 2" and in a few months I'll move on to "Season of Borderlands 3", just around the time Bungie will be selling yet another "Annual Pass" to their beloved streamers. No money from me this time Bungie. First time since 2014. Well done, congratulations.

10 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 5/25/2019 3:34:06 PMOkay, this has been going on far too long. You gamers that think because some haven't played the recent content and say... "I looked at your profile and you haven't played recently, your opinion is irrelevant"? You would be absolutely incorrect to think because some haven't that, that means they know nothing about the game and can't form an opinion base off of Bungie's actual actions since the day D1 released. Please remove that mentality from this forum. This is not the best example, but oh well. That would be like me saying, Oh, you worked at that job for 4 years, but you haven't worked their recently so your opinion about that job is irrelevant, so you know nothing about that job. The funny thing is, you worked there for 4 years. (That is exactly how some of you are acting on this forum. That it is a bunch of nonsense. I played D1 all the way up until BA and that is all the info anyone would ever need to know everything Bungie does with this game because of their (actual actions.) Nothing has changed at all since forsaken and that is a fact no one can deny. Now, when new content comes out, yes it's true if you haven't played that new content there is going to be (some things,) not "everything" that you will not know about. Take the raids for an example. "I looked at your profile, you haven't run them", which means absolutely nothing. If anyone has played D1 raids, D2 raids aren't going to be much different other then the mechanics. This means the loot system is still set up the same way with the wonderful RNG opening up the chest, and lone behold a weapon or gear piece comes out of it. The difference between the loot system in D1 vs D2? D2 sucks in gear design, random rolls, perks, duplicates, stats, skill tree, exotics, RNG. Do you want to know how I know for a fact that the raids loot system in D2 sucks? You won't see raid weapons used as often in PvP as D1, you won't see gamers running around in raid gear as often, mainly because the entire D1 had Builds. No one needs to run the raids to know how Bungie's loot system works in this game that is on the verge of being broken.

3 RepliesIts the season of flatulence because Bungie can't stop huffing on their own farts.

I mean isn't it still season of bullshit.

Can't wait for Borderlands 3

I’m calling it now
And you’re starting to sound like a whiny -blam!-. So what?

Ugh you can keep season of gambit. I'll move on to season of secrets. This is Destiny at its best hardcore rpg & secret aspects. Comp rework is icing if true!

"Just" a raid.

32 RepliesI left during season of the drifter because the content they release is boring and literally gives me zero drive to complete. I was hoping this next season would be better but it's even worse. Not the mention the fact that they are yet again reusing that boring leviathan chap. I mean, jesus, talk about chewing on an old bone. I want the story to continue and evolve our world in a meaningful way, not a new vendor and some stupid grindy missions. I'd rather put my time into other games at this point. Am I optimistic for destiny 3? No

5 RepliesMaking content is hard - Bungie

2 RepliesEververse takes up ornaments, shaders, armor, sparrows, ships, ghosts, and emotes. Everything before the latter is game rewards for playing content. All these could’ve been obtained in game, but they’re locked behind her. Now, engrams won’t give you her new items, bright dust and silver only. Gold emotes cost 3k plus, a full armor is 3500. Now Eververse is the endgame content because she will have things that could’ve been behind your content as rewards, instead you could buy them. This whole “it’s cosmetic” is bs. In fine with the emotes, emblems, ghosts projectors or whatever. We used to earn cool ships, sparrows, armor, and ghosts by playing the game. Keyword, used to, we barely get any sparrows, or ships as rewards. All of the best shaders are locked behind her, half of my shader choices are bright dust required. You’re better off telling me how many of these items you earned through gameplay instead of counting the amount of bs Bungie has pulled Season of opulence will be a joke, they’re nerfing exotics and I doubt they’ll fix the bad ones. We will get a raid and a couple of new events, more exotics that’ll be replacing the meta until nerfs, cycle continues every damn season, I’m over it really. I logged on to get the last singe for outbreak, but I never finished the headshots, what’s the point, it’ll be nerfed too. Thanks for shoving an annoying puzzle to reward us with a bubble blow in the next two months.
