I feel bad that I insta-nuked both of them the first time and then I found out that you could’ve actually spared Mithrax. But we’re not gonna talk about it...I definitely spared him in reality.
-
2 Replieshey, in this game, if you don't shoot me, i don't shoot you. The hive want us dead no matter what. The fallen just want the traveller's favour back and are now just pirates trying to survive.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Seth, Knower of Things: 5/9/2019 3:50:50 AMWhat if it was a choice we had. If more people saved the captain we get outbreak prime, but if more people saved the knight, we would’ve got necrochasm. Probably wasn’t the idea, but it’s a cool thought.

To me, Hive must die, Vex must die, jury's still out on Cabal, Fallen are just trying to survive, however irritating they may be.
-
I thought about Caydes story about the Baroness and made the call from there. It's a pirates life, it's just good business. The Hive?... Nah..... f#*k the Hive.
-
7 RepliesWhen I walked into that chamber with Mithrax and the Hive Knight, I killed the Knight first 'cause I wanted to fight Mithrax finally, without interference. So, when I see him NOT lunge at me and instead warp away, with Ghost saying he relented the reactor to us out of respect, I was impressed. Glad to see him forming the House of Light and working with us. Here's hoping Zavala doesn't throw a fit about Guardians and Fallen working together.
-
It's the only choice that makes sense. The hive are gonna try to kill you. Doesn't matter why or how, they are gonna try, which leaves the fallen as the logical choice.

2 RepliesEdited by MidsizeDragon99: 5/10/2019 8:23:28 PMI would have if my friends weren’t rushing me to get Rat king!

3 RepliesWanna know whats funny? I was somehow able to play that mission again at some point on my main and spared him but the first time I shot Mithrax because I knew it would be easier to take down the knight without the antics of a captain wooshing about, not because I hate the fallen, i just felt the knight was a greater threat and i didnt want the added distraction.
-
1 ReplyWhat mission did this happen in? I don’t even remember. And I remember newly everything about this game.
-
1 ReplyI feel the Fallen are similar to us in a way. We evolve to survive, just like the Fallen. So I have a bit of respect for them. So, couldn't shoot him when I noticed he wasn't going to attack me. Luckily, I was loading up a fusion shot when I noticed he wasn't going to attack.
-
No mercy, sweep the leg
-
Funny how many of this guardians noticed the fallen not shooting bck but they cant notice in comp or pvp or gambit when a player aint shooting bck at u
-
I always shoot hive first. Then I was pleasantly surprised.
-
3 RepliesI killed them both with my sword to show them who was the better swordsman.
-
2 RepliesBro, second I saw that fallen captain look back at me trapped in the cage I immediately thought: he's sorry... Isn't he
-
I like the Fallen. Big fan. So it was a no brainer. The Hive must die 😜
-
4 RepliesDidn't even mean to do it the first time round. Ran in and blew the knight away with a shotgun, hopped away to reload and realized the Fallen Captain wasn't shooting at me. So I waited a moment and he went away. I find it highly amusing Bungie did this with something that would've otherwise seemed completely inane.
-
It took me a lot of willpower to NOT kill this fallen captain.
-
I sometimes can't remember breakfast let alone some mission in did along time ago.
-
6 RepliesI murder anything that moves in the game.
-
Honestly the dude stopping to let me take the reactor was surprising. Then I start hearing "TITAN QUEST SECRET ENDING" everywhere. It's a 50/50 dudes
-
I meant to but that moron leapt in front of my rocket.
-
Hey guys Rick Kackis here, and today... we're gonna spare a captain... durp no one cares.
-
I was too lazy to kill him lol
-
1 ReplyThat quest was wasted potential. Spare the captain, and you get some pointless extra dialogue. Whether you kill him or let him live has zero impact on the game. Same with that other mission on Nessus where you break the fallen out of the vex jail cells. Free them just to kill them. Pointless. Would have been cool if they were grateful and helped you fight a Vex boss at the end, or showed you a secret room with treasure as thanks. Anything but mindlessly murder them like you do everything else in the game.
