Having a timer on these missions just makes them frustrating, and impossible for 99% of the player base. The jumping puzzles make it even more annoying. Every time you guys do something cool, you ruin it.

EDIT: I got it and the catalyst.👌[/b]

Jumpy puzzles are fine but the timers gotta go.
-
I agree. The ones down voting are simple minded. Rinse and repeated quests work for them so of course they will defend it. Timers combined with jumping puzzles are boring. Is this whisper #2?
-
Honestly I would pay real $$$ for a 3 clip sniper that could kill a buddy in the mazes 3 is enough that just as they got to the end blamo Let the emporor said Let the hate flow
-
Yeah I have to agree with that. Haven't done the mission yet but saw a video on youtube and the jumping part is clearly overdone.
-
who's this 99% you speak for? The puzzles are easy as hell it's just annoying cause they're so forced and jammed into every activity.
-
Just cheese it. I hate jumping puzzles too. Useless trash.

Zero Hour has similar mechanics to a raid, with an added challenge and for the reward you get at the end, it's fine how it is. People have been asking for a Pinnacle weapon that anybody should be able to get, and given practise, anybody can. You don't need to be ace in PvP and you don't need to be a hardcore raider, you just need to learn and dedicate time to it, know what you're doing where you're going. Once you learn where to go and what to do, it's really not that different to the Whisper quest. It's been solo'd and two-manned by plenty already and it's still early days yet so 99% of the population not being able to do it seems like a bit of an over-exaggeration. If people don't want to work for it and put time into something that's only been discovered this week, that's not the games fault.

I have the gun and its not that hard to do. This jumping puzzle seem easier the n the whisper jumping section. Once you know the way it's easier to so. The timer isnt the problem know your way throught is. If you have whisper or did kings fall you shouldn't be complaining
-
Most Players on PC have the gun. The jumping puzzle isn't hard and you have enough time with mistakes to complete the mission. Give it 3-4 tries to get the feel/path down. Its easier than Whisper.
-
Timer for heroic, no timer for normal.
-
I have the gun and downvoted...quit being a bot

6 RepliesEdited by Gigafloh: 5/8/2019 10:57:20 PMSo you assume 99% of the players are as bad as you? What's wrong with you crybabies? If you have to go into PvP, you complain. If you have challenging PvE content, you complain. Instant gratification is all you need and I disagree on that this game should be more easy than it is already!!!

1 ReplyEdited by Haunter: 5/8/2019 11:32:21 PMTbh "every cool exotic" is really only just 2 Whisper and outbreak I think most now agree whisper is easy, give the quest time Every single new content that drops is called "the hardest ever" for 3 weeks I think we all agree both missions without the timer would be really easy right? A boss with no mechanics or darkness zones that isnt a bullet sponge and you have infinite time with?

Edited by VanHeath: 5/9/2019 1:03:37 AMI’m ok with the jumping puzzles and the timer if it just restarted mission after failing, instead of: Returning to orbit Flying to the farm Having to go to basement Reloading into mission Just a lot of wasted time when most (99%?) will fail the mission the first few times (at least) Ran the mission 3 times last night and still haven’t made it to the switch room yet. Hopefully will tonight.
-
Or maybe you suck?
-
Most certainly not 99%, but I agree that the timer isn’t necessary. Personally, I love the challenge, but it can be frustrating for those who like to take their time.
-
Don't worry just like WotW they will nerf it into a waste of time.
-
Lol get good you can skip like most of it
-
Not entirely crazy about the timers, but it’s manageable after some attempts. Once you learn the layout, and a decent strategy for the boss room, it’s pretty easy.
-
I am one that hates jumping because I have issues with mantling plus the fact the jumps on console suck i played on a friends pc the mantling works most of the time the characters move alot faster as well so the clock isnt as much of a issue.even shooting works better recoil and all . So I ask do you just like to screw with console players making jumps at the end of the spectrum for consoles bloom on shooting ect... I am begining to think you just do stuff to spite console players.
-
i dont have it, yet think its a really good activity, d2 needs more thing like this to grind for, its hard but for a good reason

10 RepliesBUNGIE is trying to see just how fast it can drive itself out of business.
-
How many people ar downvoting ? Well it depends on how many of us arent bad enough to not be able to jump in a game where jumps are a huge part of the gameplay. Maybe you find it funnier to shoot at thousands of bulletsponges ennemies with 0 challenge and diversity. Jumping puzzles are challenging especially when you want to do do the timed challenge, and allows you to explore the game.
-
I love the jumping puzzles, I just wish they were actually puzzles that changed instead of just memorizing a route.
-
-blam!- Bungie and their stupid ass jumping puzzles! BL3 can’t get here fast enough for me!!!!!!

6 RepliesAs a solo player, and a mediocre one at best, I've just learned to accept that there is content and weapons that I will never get to enjoy. It's just another gun, I have plenty of others, and it's just a game, there are plenty of those too. I would like to get to play the other content, but not enough to do what it takes for that. I'm not going to blame Bungie for not making everything easy for me, but at the same time I wouldn't complain if they made solo versions, like timers and enemies adjusted per player count.
