Personally I don't have the time, patience, or motivation to bother (grinding what seems endlessly) leveling 3 classes any more. I'll level the same, single class for Opulence, then it's off to a refreshing change in Sept. This game has simply lost it's appeal.

I used to religiously play through everything on my Hunter and Titan, never been that interested in my Warlock. Even since D1 my Warlock was always done for the sake of it, not because I am remotely interested in the class. Forsaken turned all of this on it's head. Started alternating characters weekly, then with each season. Then it became apparent just how tedious everything is. So many time wastes, punitive rewards, RnG dictating far too much. Boring quests (still not account wide), repetitive loot drops (especially in dreaming city), boring/ugly armour and weapons. I think I'm just tired of Destiny at this point. We've come full circle again, we're in sort of the same situation as D1. Changes/fixes/updates are too slow, meta grows stale, nerfs are too harsh/buffs are too strong and we're stuck with them for months. On top of all this, compared to games like T2 and Apex which I've played a lot lately, Destiny feels old and tired on console. Meh. . .

3 RepliesDeleted my hunter and warlock shortly after black armory launched. Between masterwork cores in infusion, trying to find armor pieces for each character that had perks that fit my playstyle, the tedious quests to unlock the forges, and the fact the light cap was increasing 3 months later, I was not doing everything over again not just once, but twice. Vanilla d2 through warmind I had all 3 characters at max light each season, then I just realized it wasnt worth it with the tedious grind for 2 other characters.

I haven’t actually bothered to level up at all since BA. I’ve got two characters at top light and I got them both there from just grinding the Thorn quest and going after the intruder armour. Only time I touched a milestone is if I had to do that activity for a quest. Only reason I went after the intruder armour was literally for something to do. I was bored of gambit way before this season from grinding for the Dredgen title and I’m not a big fan of Prime. The whole mote gathering aspect of Prime seems useless to me when they can just catch up easily with a decent intruder in the primeval phase.

I'm really finding it hard to push myself cos I'm doing the same things I've been doing since forsaken came out with a little addition. The only thing motivating to have all 3 characters at 700 is the next raid. I managed to get two characters at 699 after playing with only one character all season long but maybe I will push a bit for the last few weeks before the next season.

Id play my other classes if i didnt have to redo quests to gain access to activities.

D1: Had all 3 maxed D2: Carried over my titan and Hunter D2:Forsaken, Titan made it all the way through, Hunter is still back at 380 and hasn't been touched since warmind I think

i’m trying to level my others but the campaigns are so -blam!-ing long and tedious
-
I only level my warlock and thats if i even bother playing at all anymore. And i have over 5000 hours in destiny, but its just not a good thing anymore.

6 RepliesIn D1, I had all 3 characters maxed out although mained a Titan. In D2, I play with just my Titan. I have cracked open my other 2 characters but can't be arsed investing the same amount of time into a game that barely holds any interest for me anymore. It's a shame as I absolutely adored D1.
-
I change my main every new season. I dont have the time or desire to play more than 1 character at once. Progress in D2 is much slower than before in D1. Its sad.
-
Me,I'm just trying to get my titans to 700 light.
-
I could only bother to do a second thanks to the booster which skips the campaign.

Edited by Flake: 5/6/2019 9:59:44 AMWith the cores issue, and quests not being account wide I don't bother much, no. I use mostly the Hunter, not sure if I want to finish the titan, and I barely ever bother with the warlock. It's an excessive grind, it's a chore if I'm being honest. In destiny 1 we could infuse across characters, and regardless of gear slot. Once I maxed one character I could just transfer all the left over gear I was not gonna use to level up the other 2. It gave me more time, and freedom to build properly my guardians. The way it is right now is pretty bad.

5 RepliesSame. I got one character to 700. Now I’m mostly done except for Xur’s quest line; I kind of want to see where that goes. I certainly don’t plan to do anything beyond one character for opulence either. I hope they do a massive expansion in September, but I’m not holding my breath and I’m certainly not paying for the season pass again (if they continue down that road).

2 RepliesGuns with legs? We got you boo!

I only use my Titan. Haven't touched the others in so long!!

I’m not saying this isn’t a problem but I’ve never really had all 3 characters anyway. Had 2 hunters and a titan in D1 and 3 hunters in D2. Always identified with the hunter class and I play the game as if I am my character (all my hunters are identical). If destiny is going towards a more hardcore grind with RPG elements then I think only one character is needed for most people. If you want to be super optimum to light level and have a few extra chances at raid loot then there is the option but o personally don’t think it’s an issue to only play one character. Like I said though, even though I don’t feel this an issue, players not being engaged by the content definitely is something Bungie need to look at.

I have always had 3 Warlock, Hunter, and a Titan. I made sure I did equal leveling on each one all the milestones etc. But now I am down to 1 and that one only pops on to do the Xur invitations. I am really sad the game has come to this I would love to be able to play like it was in D1 or even before the season pass took hold. Below are a few of the things that stopped me playing as much, and I put in hours and hours of time on D1 and D2. I nearly lived and breathed the game. If and when D3 is released I will buy it without a thought just on the off chance the beloved game of destiny is back. If not then shit I have lost money. Bungie seems to have lost the plot. Admitting you were wrong is NOT a sign of weakness is shows you are being honest. Enhancement cores SBMM off Quest lines having crucible participating Loot drops for strikes nightfalls etc are garbage Streamers having too much of a say in the way casual players want to play. Nothing really that is new. Armour is hideous looking but to be far so was some of D1

2 RepliesEdited by name: 5/6/2019 8:31:17 AMim at zero currently... why bother at all , the game isnt even trying anymore to be good in D1 it helped having more classes as you could share gear , in D2 its useless like D2 is useless as a whole bingie fun police ruined also the fun having multiple classes
-
Only been using my Warlock since beginning of december exept this last week using my hunter as well... Thinking I'll never be bother to open all forges with all classes. It's way to much of the same grind/time for me.
-
All I've ever done.

1 ReplyI made a meaningful choice and chose. Titan.
-
Been using one character since day 1 of destiny one. Literally never used a hunter or warlock lol.

6 RepliesI'm ready for BL3 bro
-
2 RepliesI do one then I do the other two. So I still do all three but I focus one at a time. It gives me something to do along with actually practicing with all three characters till a whole new list of nerfs or changes come out that effects the game and watch as people -blam!- when there class gets nerfed. I'm a hunter main and all the nerfs hunters have been taking so far are in called for when they are given actual vaiablity in PvP just to have it yanked away because titans and warlocks -blam!- moan and complain about it. But still I level up all three and collect what guns I can. Better to be the Jack of all trades then a one trick pony.
