Who Else Only Bothers To Level One Class Now.??
Personally I don't have the time, patience, or motivation to bother (grinding what seems endlessly) leveling 3 classes any more. I'll level the same, single class for Opulence, then it's off to a refreshing change in Sept. This game has simply lost it's appeal.

Yea especially when I have to buy a spark of light for my other characters. I shouldn’t have to do this boring campaign over and over again.

For the most part, I feel the same way. The game is so absolutely grindy now, that I really don't have time to level up all of my characters. Which sucks, because I truly enjoy and appreciate ALL of the classes...but am basically forced to choose just one to play. It's not until deeeeep into the new seasons that I even have a chance to start leveling the other two up...and that sucks. With all of their foolish light level increases every new issue and the Entitlement Core issues...it's just too difficult to keep up. Unfortunately, Bungo doesn't realize that some of us have jobs and lives.

I level up my hunter right away as fast as possible. My warlock and titan will end up leveling depending on how much I raid. The other 2 have hit 700 but it was strictly from last wish and scourge. There’s also little to no reason to be 700 right now unless your doing gambit, iron banner, or tier 3 reckoning.

Yeah i pick a class and play 2 or 3 weeks straight with it.

In D1 playing 3 classes was a great way to level up because, if I remember correctly, you could infuse armor across all three classes. I did many raids and Iron Banners across all three to level up. Leveling up now is ridiculously easy dependent only on RNG from weekly milestones and the occasional Prime Engram. I do remember that reaching top level in D1 was an achievement that other players respected and admired. Now I just run two classes.

Lol yep. Enhancement core BS has meant that I do my main warlock and then call it quits. I think Bungle have realised their error as a lot more stuff is now account instead of character based. I have exactly one set of masterworked armour and that is a mix and match set. Its the only one I boost up to max anymore. Not grinding to max another set ever.

Yep, Destiny for me has become incredibly unrewarding and boring. Every time I try to jump back on I immediately feel discouraged. I downloaded the Handsome Jack Collection for Borderlands and I'm having way more fun with the Pre Sequel, and Borderlands 2. The loot, the classes, pretty much everything other than the gun play is better than Destiny 2 for me.

left my warlock behind when CoO came out and when War Mind came out i didn't touch my titan for a while then forsaken hit and i only got on my hunter and eventually quit playing altogether once the annual pass became a thing.

Yup. I kept three characters leveled up continually from the first days of D1 but since Forsaken dropped and the enhancement chore fiasco set in I only have time and patience for one now. I tried playing my second character last week for a bit but soon lost interest. Too much pointless grind now. The fun is gone.

i play the stuff i want to play as i want to play it. There is no sense of urgency to level up and it makes the game so much more enjoyable and nothing like the chore i see some of you engage in weekly. Doesnt take very long to get them all maxed out either doing that and really whats the rush? got several months to play a season.

I have always managed to grind to max level for all 3 characters since D1- and enjoyed every minute of it up until Season of the Drifter. Time is not the issue for me, but patience and motivation are. I can honestly say I have no desire to 'level' up ANY of my characters for Opulence- if it means I have to run the same damn boring weekly milestones in order to do it. Seriously, I can't even travel to the Dreaming City any more- I'm sick of it! Crucible/IB- broken and boring AF. Gambit- worthless waste of time. Black Armory- already have god-rolls on all weapons. Same old boring strikes, heroic missions, and night falls- done with them.

I only bothered with one toon as my primary because all the quests were character based until this current season. I’m was essentially forced to only use one toon to work towards quest lines like AoS, Thorn, Mountaintop, etc. If they maintain the pinnacle weapons tied to triumphs in the future, I’d feel less “forced” to focus primary on only one character due to weapon quest lines (and don’t get me started in those f—-ing forges. Never unlocked more than the first one on my other two toons)

I thought this season was easiest by far to level all 3. I had left my Warlock after the end of Warmind and the only reason I brought my Hunter through Forsaken was because BB was stupid good with Shards before the nerf so I was down to 1 character through BA. But I got my Titan to max before the end of 3 resets with no raid or NG completions so I figured I might as well play my other characters for something to do — especially since Titan lack end game at this point. Didn’t take more than a few more weeks before they were 700 as well, especially with Revelry and the armor powerfuls for 3 weeks. Do I think leveling is still broken and tedious? Yes. But this season has been by far the easiest season for leveling in my opinion. I hope they keep it this way in Opulence too — you know, after they get that plus 1 “bug” figured out that always hits with a new season 😉

I dont mind leveling 3 classes because it feels quicker, yes i have the time to fo it and thats a huge factor, but it feels like with 3 characters i have 3 times the milestones to complete which all give me loot that COULD help. When my hunter for example is done with his milestone he will be 710 (just an example) with weapons around that power level, if i tranfer those weapons to my titan he is already 703 instead of 700, with some luck i can get him to around 715 with weapons around that power level. Now repeat the process on my warlock and he starts at 705 ish and will level to 718-720 because of the higher drops in the beginning. That means that with one character i would have been 710 after 1 week and with 3 characters i made double the progress. Now this is assuming i get alot of usefull items instead of useless duplicate items, but even with some duplicates i will progress more than people that only use 1 character. After 3-4 weeks ill be close to hitting 750 or might even hit it already whilest others will be at 725-735 after the same time.

If quest would cross all your classes that would help in playing all 3 classes. Make quests triumps like Mountian Top and people would play different classes IMO.

I’m still going for 700 light for my Hunter then I’m done, but grinding for Weapons I only do it on my Titan due to all my progress is on him Can admit it can be boring but it can be fun sometimes I guess

Level my titan to max then give the weapons and a full exotic set to the others, max light in a week or two on those.

D3 needs to be set up very differently. Make it do you dont need all 3 any more for max LL. This system is so damn tired.

I try to do all the basics on all my characters. especially clan stuff. Then once I reach max light I'll focus on just dreaming city and stuff I want loot from. and now I'm working on triumphs and specific rolls on desired weapons and armor while joining my clan mates in raids where and when I can. I manage to stay pretty busy and have been enjoying my time playing with friends. Seems rare but I often don't get as much done as I want to each week.

Since i mostly played comp i focused on my hunter this season. After i got to 700 i moved on to my warlock and finally my titan. I didn't care at all about getting to max light as its a worthless chase.
