Season of the Drifter Weapon Drop Rates
We will be increasing the drop rates of weapons in The Reckoning in Update 2.2.1. We will also be adding most of the weapons to the loot pool of Gambit Prime to increase the ways you can earn Season of the Drifter weapons. Most weapons will have a chance to drop at the end of Gambit Prime matches. Your drop chance will also increase in both Gambit Prime and the Reckoning every match you don’t get a weapon to prevent long droughts without a drop. Eventually, you will be guaranteed a drop. Gnawing Hunger, Just In Case, and Doomsday will remain as exclusive drops in the Reckoning.

11 RepliesSadly no one that doesn’t no life Destiny cares anymore. Gambit is the worst activity ever. It’s just a means to fool investors by doubling the number of daily active players and increase time wasted on the game. The content isn’t fun, the weapons are all meh, any decent weapon or gear is a D1 recycle most normally constituted Vets are fed up playing with, so guess grinding for a downgraded copy in a cheesy underwhelming environment. The problem with Destiny is that Bungie ignores its core community, focused on a very specific market segment of streamers and the 500 souls that spend their days on their streams, ignoring the 10mln or so who had never ever watched any of their streams and even less care about their opinions. A sad self fulfilling prophecy reinforced by the autism and egocentrism of many Bungie heads. It’s 3 years I am describing this scenario, 3 years that I get banned and sacked, but I told everyone in here to short the stock at $85 and buy it back at $45. Many insulted me then ran back to tell me they “had no more paper” just as the share price was collapsing lmfao. Typical backtraders. That’s pretty much the problem with this game. It’s packed with back traders at every damn level, from the corporation all the way to the beggars. Needless to say they are now every day on margin call! 😂

Thankfully the dudes over at Massive actually know how to design a game/reward player time, so the smart ones will be over on The Division 2 where the devs actually centered the experience around what the player wants, not around trying to see what the least amount of content they could fit in a paid DLC would be. Your game is a flatout embarrassment and the fact that you still keep asking for money for these shit, should just be QOL micro DLCs is pathetic. 2 exotic weapons was really all your uncreative asses could imagine for paid DLC? -blam!-ing clowns. And then while blatantly robbing everyone, no one at the studio can be -blam!-ing bothered to answer anyones questions about pvp moving forward or why weve heard nothing from the pvp team, or why you still cant swallow your -blam!-ing pride and bring old D1 trials back. It must be this "better idea" that you keep telling us will come one day due to undue pride in your mediocre game dev skills. Lets be real, we all know you just havent brought it back cause youre gonna use it to try and swindle people into buying whatever garbage you have planned for year 3. Honestly, Forsaken was just a bait and we should have figured youd tank it/squander any goodwill it earned you. Just look at what you did with both D1 and D2 launch.

This is great news- at least on paper. I will hold judgment until I actually see the drops increase. I farmed T3 Reckoning this week for the damn hand cannon and only got 1 HC drop- and it was a garbage roll. And I have yet to get any drop in Gambit Prime, so that mode has become pointless for me.

19 RepliesAlmost makes me want to play Reckoning and Gambit Prime...almost. If I were to summarize Destiny 2 it would be; Gambit = crap Forges = crap PvP = crap Raids = pretty good Development team should spend more resources on raids instead of weak ‘filler’ content.

Having a blast with Gambit Prime, and regular Gambit is fun with the sudden death added. I have some friends who have recently came back to Destiny and are overwhelmed (in a good way) at what they have in front of them.

13 RepliesI see a lot of people on here happy that ur increasing drop rates , but why did Bungie have the drop rates so low in the first place ? It’s just a dirty underhand way to keep people playing ur game , chasing gear that they had very low chance of getting in the first place. What else is Bungie slowing down to keep people grinding ? We all know you won’t change cores that’s another way ur controlling ur players instead of giving them the freedom to play and enjoy ur game . Anything to slow players down to try keep them playing
