Incase you missed this nugget, there is apparently another community summit coming that of course is streamers/content creators only...... AGAIN.......
Once again this proposed summit is to take place March 27-29. To discuss Season 7 and other future content..
Here is what I expect will be the first question the streamers/YouTubers will ask .... Future if Trials of The Nine/Osiris?
Not the hot button topics that populate this feedback forum such as Enhancement Core/ Infusion System Issues, the latest NERF( UNCALLED FOR BTW) patch, the OP Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, PvP steps in quest lines(cuz Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten dominant crucible), and my personal favorite RECYCLED CONTENT FROM D1....
I personally don't see a point to have a D3 or expansion beyond the season content. D2 has been a utter disappointment that just can't seem to get anything right.
What say you community, is D2 dead or dying?
-
5 RepliesI’m glad I don’t visit this forum very often anymore. You do realize the reason D2 is in a great spot is because of the first 2 forums, right? Trials is probably the biggest thing pvp needs right now so by far it should be #1. I have 200 master cores, are you just mindlessly wasting yours without replenishing them? Pinnacle weapons are for those that want to play the game for more than an hour a week, it’s not like they’re must have weapons. The whining continues to blow my mind after all of the changes they’ve done to improve the game in the past year.

5 RepliesI see no problem with inviting streamers to the summit. Some of them, after all, are amongst the most dedicated to the game since the beginning and their suggestions are most likely going to reflect that. Just make sure those invited represent all aspects of the game, and not just pvp. As long as streamers like Datto and Byf just to name a few are there you will get quality feedback. Those guys have been with the game since the beginning, have beat all the endgame content and have both went flawless in trials.

5 RepliesI don't know why u guys hate on YouTubers so much ? If u follow the right guys they can actually be really helpful , gladd , cammy, aztecross , datto I find that these guys do represent what I think of the game 😅

3 RepliesFor -blam!-s sake man, learn to use an Ace of Spades and standoff those Luna punks. It is not hard. Not Forgotten should lose that shootout too if you are hitting your crits. For -blam!-s sake man. They just gave you access to Thorn and Service Revolver (poor mans Luna's that can roll and perform better). So just -blam!-ing git gud. Putting that complaint on your list REALLY undermines the credibility of everything else you posted there.

Im confused on how you already know what the content creators are gonna talk about. Trash talking people just because you didnt get invited is kinda childish. The overwhelming majority of players have noticed the same problems in game that need changed, this includes content creators. Also if I was in bungies shoes I would also invite the people who play the game the most for optimal feedback. Chill my dude...

4 RepliesWhat is the problem with streamers doing the summit. The other summit they did was for Warmind and also Forsaken, 2 of the best expansions destiny 2 has had. So why complain? All streamers asked before the summit what there viewers wanted in the game and they gave feedback to bungie on those issues.
-
So far I only hear about pve streamers going though...
-
It's not streamers only and wasn't last time. Think before you speak.
-
Well none of those things you listed are actual issues so I’m glad your not going to the summit.
-
Your post explains exactly why people like you aren't invited. 1. First of all, calling the last patch a "nerf patch" despite 99% of it being buffs lol 2. Complaining about PVP steps in quest lines for PVP WEAPONS (last word and thorn I'm assuming) 3. saying Destiny is dying, like people have been saying for years. Oh but it's still here.

15 RepliesThis game isn’t dead or dying. If you want to see a game dying go look at anthem. Luna and not forgotten are only a problem on consoles. All the 180 hand cannons have the most aim assist. They can maybe adjust them but not break them.

You'd just scream at the top of your lungs about stuff that only 10% of the playerbase is having problems with. Streamers understand the problems because the game is literally their job.
-
I'm sorry, who are you?
-
89 RepliesBungie never learns. Catering to streamers has them in this mess, so their solution is to cater to streamers again. Way to alienate 95% of the playerbase.
-
It's nothing more than bungie targeting the same ppl who donate money to watch influencers.

Edited by CookieNiki: 3/14/2019 10:35:17 PM
What makes this second summit interesting is that it comes at a time where Destiny 2 is doing well. Players seem genuinely happy with the state of the game and the Annual Pass content, albeit after Bungie corrected a few missteps.
- Source An article that says this was written by: - someone who was payed to lie; OR - someone completely disconnected with Destiny players reality; Take your pick.

20 RepliesWould anyone purchase D3? What I’ve seen of D2, I wouldn’t...
-
But they gotta get their streamers in there to make sure they get some slick, cheap way to beat the raid first before anybody else, look at all the past "worlds first" and the controversy surrounding each one by some of THE SAME PEOPLE who are going to this summit..
-
Neither. It's just fine. Some people just don't like that there load out isn't the best anymore. Now there are 5 or 6 best loadouts. God forbid a looter have some variety. Destiny is getting there. It takes time
-
When I poop, i can always count on the salt this forum has against streamers and the big bad pvp players for some light giggles.
-
bungie doesnt learn.
-
It's pointless. They already know what the community wants. Instead they hold a summit for streamers who are easily manipulated. We all know for a fact that everyone going will be too soft to say anything truly constructive in fear of never being invited again. Hence why Bungie insist on streamers and their lack of backbone face to face.
-
The real problem with the summits in my opinion is they are generally hearing from dedicated no-lifers, whether they stream or not, people who have hours and hours to grind all day. Those people will have wildly different ideas as to what constitutes good game design for Destiny. I was made redundant and took 8 months off. During that time I happily grinded all the milestones and did bounties, chased cores etc. Now that I’m working again and don’t have anywhere near as much time, the game feels like a total drag. I don’t want to play weeks of old content to power up anymore. I want to use my limited time doing new activities. 650 isn’t going to get me through tier 3 Reckoning though.

Hoping for a less tedious pointless grind just to stretch the content i can barely catch up since i have thing called life

What could go wrong?(again)

8 RepliesMy question to you is, do you think the changes that came with Forsaken improved D2, or worsened it? And I ask, because the streamer summit from Y1, helped shape Forsaken and Y2. Personally, I think Forsaken was an improvement. And am grateful for their input. As far as having streamers vs regular Joe's, streamers have communities that can pool suggestions. Any regular Joe, just has his or her personal opinion. So streamers actually can provide a more balanced feedback, than just some regular Joe, imo.
