Anybody else notice arcstrider is the only subclass in the game with only one super?

1 ReplyNew Super: Raindance - Do a weird dance on your pole and summon a flurry of lightning strikes in a wide area around you. (Strikes a mix of the Storm grenade bolts and thunderlord bolts.) - the storm lasts about 20 seconds with 8 of those occupied by an animation. (+40% Armor during animation) - Individual strikes don’t do a ton of damage, but cover a large area in solid damage. This makes it below average at boa DPS, but exceptionally good at crowd control and area denial due to its surprisingly large area. (About 5x the area of fist of havoc, but doesn’t go through walls.)

Charged knife throwing... electrifying an area between knives. EMP staff attack, plant a staff and everything withing a certain radius is immobilzed for x seconds and takes some minor damage.

3 RepliesIt's a really good super though, and the fact that people may mistake them may take some off guard if you have the parry on deck. Nice nova bomb there, would be a shame if I was using Way of the Current. A super with maybe a different martial art fighting style with punches, kicks and shoulder tackles that lunge really far might be cool, as long it functions in a way to be better in some situations and not in others.

Twirly Stick is totally worth it tho. Nothing like telling some that their Super belongs to me in the Crucible

4 RepliesYou can't block beam weapons nor chaos reach with the staff which is stupid, especially for beam weapons. Trace Rifles will still kill an Arcstrider.
