Bungie. There’s a trophy that most of us don’t have.
Forsaken has been out for months now and I have every single trophy...but one. You wanna know what that trophy is?
Complete a Seal.
For months now, I’ve been playing this game and I can’t believe the only thing stopping me from getting 100% trophies is based on very shitty RNG.
No matter how many times I do EP, I can’t get the SMG or the Sniper, thus stopping me from getting Wayfarer. Don’t even get me started on the stems...
No matter how many times I kill Mr. Fuzzy Wuzzy, I can’t get the ship or sparrow, thus stopping me from getting Dredgen.
No matter how many times I do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE in Dreaming City, I can’t get the ship, this stopping me from getting Cursebreaker. Let’s not even talk about 1K Voices.
Why is a trophy based on RNG even a thing? Isn’t it supposed to be an achievement, which is reliant on skill, not luck? There are many people in my shoes right now and it sucks that no matter what we do, no matter how hard we grind, RNG just doesn’t give a -blam!-.
PLEASE either increase the drop rates or remove RNG from seals.

Whoever is in charge of loot distribution in D2 you are ruining a game that was created by some amazing people. They need to get rid of the shitters and hire more people who have a better understanding of WTF they are doing. 😐

Yea 99% of the seal is based on completing challenges/activities and actually proving yourself. The last 1% is a measure of how lucky you are? Who the -blam!- came up with this shit?

I've got Wayfarer and Rivensbane, and I could have had Cursebreaker by now too if I hadnt been lazy about eggs n bones... And I agree with you. The drop rates on cosmetics is brutally unfair.

Took me 100+ ep completions until I got all the weapons. I hated every minute of it. Ever since then, I will always hate hordemode games.

Once I saw the rng nature of certain things, I simply stopped caring about them. That is something I DEFINITELY think Bungie 'screwed the pooch' on.

4 RepliesAs I wayfarer I won’t tell you to “get good” it just takes time. Sure it’s not a guaranteed thing but it shows dedication put towards getting that seal. I know it took 43 nightfalls to get the rocket launcher but I had fun with my friends doing it. As for the other seals Dredgen: cool for you, still can’t get the meatball Rivensbane: I don’t wanna know how long you spent, nice? CurseBreaker: Uhhhh how’d you get the ship but awesome Scholar: That’s a lot of lore and patience... nice Unbroken: Hats off to you, that takes so much effort but I hope it was worth it

2 RepliesI’ve gotten the Dredgen seal, but my account still hasn’t registered the achievement. It’s been nearly a month now, and it’s the only thing keeping me from 100% D2 completion.

Only needed the RL from the NF for wayfarer when the seals went active, took about 12 runs and finally got it. Granted I never grinded for it during Warmind.

5 RepliesWayfarer is not something to be complained about. It requires patience. Ive heard dredgen is easy to get, ghost shell can be bought and just do triumphs. Should be done by ghost shell. A lot more people will have Unbroken next season.

Same boat man- I’m missing the sniper and the Rocket Launcher from (nightfall)... I get the SMG and the Shot gun a lot from EP.
