Where are those people now when there is a exotic plaguing the crucible that is way more powerful than worm husk ever was, its called one eyed mask. lets compare the two shall we:
Wormhusk:
- to activate perk you must shadestep
- it gave back small portion of health and started recovery to full health
One eyed mask:
= activate perk by getting shot or killing someone who shot at you
= if someone damages you you get to see exactly where there are anywhere on the map for a long time
= if you win a gunfight not only does it start your health regeneration it gives you a OVERSHIELD
= and to top everything off you get a damage boost
So to all the people who cried about worm husk i can't believe you aren't crying one eyed mask. And if there is anyone who thinks worm husk pre "nerf" was better lets discuss because i believe one eyed mask is the most power armor exotic to ever be introduced into pvp.

One eyed mask is very good, but back when there were no one shot weapons outside of power ammo, wormhusk was a huge problem.

4 RepliesYes but Titans were the ones who cried for the Wormhusk Crown nerf. Guess who gets to use One Eyed Mask? That’s right. Filthy brainless selfish Titan mains
-
Things are different now. If a hunter used warmhusk now ide prob just end up shotgunning him in the face or using any other special weapon that we didn’t have access to back then. Yes one eyed mask is better in every way. It even helps you mid fight because u can just pop a barricade and BAM u can see the guy through the walls now for way too long. You can easily disengage and re engage. I think the tracker of the exotic is the problem idc about the other perks. If they want to buff warmhusk again I wouldn’t care. I wouldn’t use it tbh.

4 RepliesI main a hunter for the most part. Worm husk required nothing to get that health Regen... In this current system it would be even more broken and spammed simply due to the whole 5 paragon mod being possible in this system and synergizing armor perks for faster ability Regen.. Say. Frost ee5 and distribution armor perks? yes. Oem offers and over shield. That part may be over kill given it lasts a while. But you still have to secure a kill... Worm husk I just had to double tap circle button... So in that way I think there is a trade off... Over shield doesn't stop rockets or shotgun blasts very well from what I've seen...

2 RepliesAs a titan main I do think OEM is pretty powerful, maybe too powerful considering everything it does, but at least it requires you to win your first duel. That is a big deal for the majority of the player base. You can't rely on your exotic armor to get your first kill. Wormhusk helped you win your first one. No kill required. Just get your health back every 15, 20 ish seconds. I think the conditions under which the exotic perks are activated make the difference here. Don't get me wrong though. OEM is definitely top tier at a minimum.

Weird flex, but ok.
-
Lol funny how OEM is the very sole reason why titan is a thing again 😂😂
-
By the way you describe it I would say it is OP. I know a clan member that uses it (it hasn’t dropped for me) and says it is powerful

15 RepliesI main hunter since destiny 1 beta and oem is balanced and hunters wormhusk was hella overpowered and easy to use. Im a hunter main btw wormhusk was easier to use then oem, oem takes skill. Hunter main..

2 RepliesThis forum is filled with self-entitled Titan, you won't win here mate.

7 RepliesUnfortunately this forum is saturated with entitled titans... so while i personally agree with you, good luck getting much support on this topic.

5 RepliesNot sure why people cry about the One-Eyed Mask. The Titan has to Kill the player that damages (Marks) them to benefit from it. It's powered by stupid enemy players, like how Ursa Furiosa originally was. If you suck at PvP, the best way to beat a Titan using it is to shoot them to Mark yourself, then run towards your team. The Titan will be solely focused on you while you are Marked because they have to rely on the Helmet, so the rest of your team can easily gun him down. And even if the Titan slays your team while you are still Marked, they won't be able to regenerate their Health or gain an Overshield. Warlocks have Bottom Tree Voidwalker, Devour regenerates all of their Health instantly when they kill anyone and refreshes the duration while also hastening their Grenade Cooldown. This ability is still brokenly Overpowered but no one uses it currently because of how vastly superior Nova Warp currently is in PvP. Hunters have Foe Tracer that Marks enemy players by just glancing at them. As well as Passives in the Nightstalker trees that allow them to Track enemies as well as going Invisible from Crouched Headshot kills while also activates Wallhacks. They also have Gemini Jesters that deals damage (1~2) to enemy players around them, even behind cover making it good for knowing where enemy players are, while also removing their Radars. Basically, One-Eyed Mask is only good when certain criteria is met. If the Titan sucks, it's useless. If your team sucks, it's OP. I have it and I've used it, but it's really niche for me. I use either Insurmountable Skullfort or Ursa Furiosa.

It’ll be nerfed without a doubt.

Edited by Chunk: 1/21/2019 2:39:31 AMFirst of all OEM is busted as all hell, especially for the next smuck that comes across that Titan with an overshield shield and a damage buff. Second leave the one eyed mask be , I don't play Titan. I play Hunter just restore the worm husk how it was before they Nerfed it then it would be fair.
-
It will be nerfed. Trust in that.
-
To answer your title question: No, it's not.
-
14 Repliesthe people who cried about wromhusk were titans mostly and now that titans have a busted exotic, it doesn’t need a nerf. titan players want shards of galanor nerfed, but they didn’t want ursa feriosa nerfed. titans call hunters overpowered and think titans are perfectly balanced, despite being able to chain one shot melees indefinitely with an exotic until either their melee doesn’t kill for some reason or they die while killing somebody with it literally the second i play on my titan i get like 30 kills a game despite me being absolute shit at pvp especially in the current meta that revolves around being a titan that has a pulse rifle and a shotgun and an lmg. TLDR: titan players are hyper sensitive virgins.
-
Hunter exotics/skills will always appear to be OP vs other classes as the majority of characters used are hunter class. It will always seem you get killed by this or that hunter power or item more than anything else because it’s being used more. That then leads people to feel it is OP and cry nerf.

One eyed doesnt start HP regen, it instantly gives max hp back and starts overshield charge very fast, also, in pc, titanskating titans with one yed mask and shotguns are a cancer to overcome.
-
Honestly there's many better choices as a Titan. It's sort of like getting mad at a helmet very similar to Foetracer, that's actually worth it. It's a red herring. Same player would probably kill you.
-
bUt BuT hOw CaN I WiN iF i DoNt hAs fUlL health with an overshield and bonus damage?! Seriously. People get shot once and run away. It doesn't surprise me in the least every baddie is trying, desperately, to say it's not ridiculous.
-
As a titan main, ima have to agree with you. But I, personally, prefer ursas cause i'm sentenal main

I just got OEM today .. Its by far the best exotic in the game I would love to play more with it ... But my first impressions r that it is much above any other exotic in pvp and did save my ass lots of times
