If you aren’t going to play the objective of Iron Banner, then STAY THE F*** OUT OF IRON BANNER

This post was originally made as a way to vent out some frustration due to Iron Banner. Was it really necessary? No. Do I stand by the statement? Yes actually, I do.

8 Repliesits simple pick 2 zones and hold them. thats it , thats how easy it is. but no theres try hards that want to spawn rush and take all points. if you hold 2 zones you limit the places they can spawn. now at this point you DO NOT GO RUNNING IN TO BE THE HERO. what you do is sit back and wait for them to come to you , as they will and as they must. its not rocket science , just hold 2 points thats all you have to do , no more and no less.

also if you see me or someone else crouched and looking down a pathway / door way or what ever , we are there for a reason ie we have just been killed down there or we can see someone on the radar down there , so if you could STOP FEKKIN RUNNING INTO US AND PUSHING US INTO THERE LINE OF FIRE AND GETTING US FEKKIN KILLED ! that would be just peachy. thank you

1 ReplyWhat are you talking about? Every time I play iron banner I see the same 3 letters, A, B, and C. Whenever I stand next to them it makes the enemies come to me, so I try to avoid them as best as possible.

I think I've won 3 games out of 20+ the last day...every game is against a stack the majority of the time or multiple teams that get grouped together... The players on my team run by the capture points, and the majority of the time my KDA is getting -blam!-ed /ELO because I'm one of the only people actually trying to hold a base or capture one and I get 3 vs 1 or more...so as a player who is actually trying to capture/win the game, I'm being punished by bad players who are just in there to do gun play/not even win. It's to the point where PvP in this game isn't fun anymore due to just the players who don't do what they need to do. My only other friend who plays basically quit IB after getting the sniper...he basically straight up said IB is one of the worst/toxic experiences he's been involved in.

5 RepliesHow about we draw attention to the fact that almost every titan subclass except 2 are shit? Missile and explosive hammers are really the only decent ones, but here we have spectral blades lasting a full minute, blade barrage panic supers, and nova warp killing you from the other side of the world and lasting too long. I rarely ever see sentinel titans, no one uses burning maul because it's a joke, and barricade itself is useless. To show just how stupid barricade is, let me describe a scenario that happened today. Dude is shooting at me with a Bygones, I throw up my barricade to use as cover. Not even exaggerating, dude kept spraying at my barricade, destroys it, and nearly kills me all without reloading. You mean to tell me, 2 bursts plus a barricade being destroyed, plus ANOTHER 2 bursts all from one gun seems fair? I don't think so. Not to mention the RNG and matchmaking in D2 is horrendous. I see Ikelos shotguns everywhere, shotguns with shit for range somehow outgunning my shotgun with almost maxed out range, me being put on losing teams or teams with people not even 570 power level in IB, and somehow getting meleed AFTER I kill them. Crucible is horrendous, only reason I play it is because there's so many milestones that require crucible, so many quests that require crucible.

I agree. I’ve been in matches where I’m literally the only guy capturing zones on the team. People just want to run and gun without following the objective.

3 RepliesDoesn't matter, I played all the bounties across all my characters and didn't get anything decent drop wise.... Junk armour and the worst rolled weapons.... After the last two iron banners, I have one decent SMG.

But I'm only lvl 20, it's the light lvl 650s job to protect me! My job is to run and hide. Capturing a zone is scary. As soon as I see a red blip on the radar I'm out of there.
