They should remove Exclusives so that it would break ground on the Destiny community coming together into cross-play. That's my hope at least.

It's a nonissue anymore. Fortnite, Warframe and other games are becoming cross-play. Destiny should as well especially if it will help with filling lobbies and stuff.
