Still no Dreaming City cosmetics. Bungie please do something.
Every Single week since Forsaken has launched I have done The Ascendent Challenges, the story mission and the Dungeon when its up. I do them every week on all 3 characters (4 times each curse week for shattered throne with the weekly reset bug) and have still yet to get ANY Dreaming City Cosmetics! This is a huge problem! RNG should not be in Titles/Seals. Cursebreaker is by far the coolest Title in game for me and i want it so bad. It hurts to see most of my friends have it upon only a few weeks of trying for the cosmetics. I also really want to get the badge in real life through bungie rewards. But i dont think i'll ever be able to get that either and it sucks. Bungie please do something or say something...

Should be rng to a point, say buy your 10th or 15th completion should be a guarneteed drop.

I have completed 50 out of 65 location triumphs.. I have opened every acendant chest there is in all 3 week cycles.. I have all 11 draming city lore and all Marasenna 26.. I have done all bounties from petra almost every day... Done the shattered throne every time it has been present.. Ive so far invested 700 hours into D2 (Had about 2000 hours in total in D1) and a majority of those hours are spend in the Dreaming City. Now if thats not enough of dedication i dont know what. I need the ghost, sparrow ship and the weapon from the corrupted NF... But since that NF is just as rare i think Bungie has a huge balance issue here! (I also made a post earlier that i dont think seals should have RNG tied to them and it got a lot of upvotes but Bungie seem to ignore these types of critics)... When kids cry over that they need something to nerfed Bungie hopp on the wagon directly but this that is a returning topic over and over again seem to be totally ignored!

I just started working on mine this past week. The drop rates are crazy low. I know I've got to wait at least a whole other cycle comes through because I missed an egg last week in the challenge. I just hope RNG doesnt completely hose me out of buying the little pin from Bungie Rewards. I put a message in the #feedback section asking about the drop rates. Hopefully someone looks into this at some point since this is a pretty common thing.

Yeah seriously I’m not fully against rng but if the drop rate is gonna be this low we need more opportunities to grind for them other than 3 chances per character every three weeks, such as the case with the ship.

That shell is the only reason I don't have Cursebreaker either, and yeah I've done it every single week too. Even solo'd Shattered Throne, and other stuff in the Dreaming City you think would help you earn such a title. It's okay if they don't change it but I know they already have their eye on this kind of thing. Is this shell as rare as 1KV or something?

6 RepliesThe more time you have invested the longer it takes to get certain things. I'm disabled so I have a lot of time to grind and have played way more Forsaken than I care to admit but the game refuses to drop me the ghost shell so I can grind for Cursebreaker so I gave up. Also today is 101 days since Forsaken launched and I still don't have One Eyed Mask which is the exotic I wanted the most from the moment I saw it. This game used to help me get though tough times but now I find myself way more frustrated because nothing should take this long to get. I wish you luck on getting your cosmetics. 😐✌🏼️

I have TWO seals waiting on ships that I will never use. 3 freaking chances every 3 weeks for the shattered throne ship. 3 chances a week for a stupid glittering key. I am soooooooooooo sick of grinding this stuff for ships so I can complete these seals. We’re on a whole new raid now with a new dungeon coming out and I’m still grinding for a dumbass ship in a 3 month old raid. Opened 33 chests without a glittering key. You have got to fix this shit, Bungie.

3 RepliesDreaming city is bugged- drop rates are ridiculous, even for the old stuff- EXCEPT tigerspite. Ive never seen a retold tale. not a single one, and like others, do my ascendants , toland, etc every week. Im getting bored...very, very bored

1 ReplyThe ghost can drop from heroic public events but nobody ever wants to farm them 🤔 I have personally seen it drop from them 3 times.

The community needs to rally around this issue and create a REMOVE EVERVERSE 2.0, except with RNG for titles. If Bungie isn't willing to acknowledge this mess, then we should cram it down they're throats until we get what we want. It's a shame it has to go this far, but they're complacence is only fuelling the fire that once rose up a year ago. they can either act, or face the onslaught.

3 RepliesUnder the dreaming city cosmetic item category falls also the normal ghost shell right? I mean I opened now 35/40 eggs. I did all ascendant challenges and collected all bones - only the last wish ones are missing. But the sparrow drops with 40 eggs, but what do you do to get the ghost? The ship is shattered Throne solo that’s clear. I just think it’s funny to me how much I committed to the dreaming city and just got no drops. There is much more content needed. They should have included ornaments for every dreaming city Ascendant challenge for the dreaming city armor, and some other goodies. Even blind well armor and weapons. I am okay with what it is and I like the area a lot, just that the drops are mostly the same, that’s a bit frustrating.

2 RepliesThe fact they added a new seal with the same requirements it seems they are not doing anything about it. Putting the badge in a seal which will be the only thing restrict you from getting the badge just cos you have bad rng shows that the badges are all luck. The only reason I want the cursebreaker is cos of the pin from the store really looks cool... but at this point I am about to give up.

1 ReplyBUMP. I have been dedicated to the Dreaming City and that Cursebreaker title since day one. Hell, I solo'd the Shattered Throne. I did not see a single cosmetic in all of season 4 and didn't get my first one until season 5. I'm still missing two. And it's not just me being unlucky because, my whole clan is in the same boat. I've said this many times on the forums and I'll keep saying it. PLEASE TAKE RNG COSMETICS OUT OF TITLES. You take away the value of EARNING that title if you tie a raffle to it. When I see someone with the Cursebreaker, I don't think to congratulate them. My first thought is, "That lucky son of a gun." I've only ever seen 2 people with it.

Can confirm that I saw the ship drop in my fire team during after the ogre, just not for me. Probably won’t see it till D2’s age of triumph

1 ReplyAs with most RNG items in this game, if you don't acquire them within a couple weeks after they are released, the RNG rate is dropped very low afterwards. This applies to most RNG items across the entire game. Its a method to prolong a players gameplay. Sad but true.

3 RepliesAgreed! I'm still waiting on Ghost. Absolute horesh(t that we are at the mercy of RNG when the drop rate is so low. I've also done challenges, missions and dungeons every week along with all bounties and Blind Well. Unbelievable to go an ENTIRE SEASON and not get the 3 cosmetic drops :/
