Actually, these are some of the healthiest numbers I have seen on destiny tracker and general player sentiment and media is fairly positive so I don't think the game is in the crisis that you make it out to be.

Oh so you just refuse to face reality, that’s cool, but this isn’t a healthy state for a AAA game with a AAA budget. Sorry to break it to you, but numbers are supposed to increase when new content is released. This weekend was the first weekend of new content. Friday the release of a new raid. There were less players tracked on Friday than were last weekend, and less Saturday than Friday. Maybe you’re happy with the game, that’s totally cool, but you do have to face the fact that it’s in a unhealthy place right now.

Numbers did not increase due to the power level gaffe that was acknowledged and is being addressed. Also, it would be difficult for a $10 dlc to have the same impact as forsaken on the player population.

It wasn’t a $10 DLC it was a $35 Annual Pass. The way it works in Destiny historically is there is a spike in players every time new content is released for about 2 months then it starts to come back down to “normal” until the next release. It’s been like this since Destiny 1. It’s happened with every new content drop until this one. That indicates there is something very wrong, but feel free to keep denying it.

It's a $35 season pass comprised of 3 dlcs of this nature, thus approximately $11.7 dollars per dlc. I mentioned that there was a problem with this dlc but it has been acknowledged and steps have already been taken to fix it.

Not before they lost 500k players in 3 days

Nonetheless, a very fast response. You and those who stopped playing should definitely complain if you see an issue with the game as I and others did before warmind/forsaken but also keep in mind the scale of this dlc.

What scale? It’s tiny and drip fed so people don’t get Osiris levels mad again. I didn’t quit but 90% of the player base aren’t playing it.
