Worst dlc! Why pay for new content that requires you to grind old content. Literally paid to play the same shit again! -blam!-ing stupid! Can't even beat the first forge without literally going back and playing the old shit more! Ignorant! Buy me a drink first bungie!

29 RepliesSorry, but that’s where you’re wrong. This is a very good DLC. Forges are difficult and require work to get into and beat effectively. It’s not just a cakewalk. So... yeah. Git gud.

2 RepliesEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 12/9/2018 4:19:54 PMI can’t really say much about it because I haven’t been able to play much of it. Just dropping something in that is significantly higher level than the cap was with nothing new to get you to those high levels was a terrible way of implementing new content. I can only conclude that it was an incredibly poor decision that somehow still got made, or that there isn’t much content to it and this is how they inflate play time. I’d like to be wrong, and I hope I am. It’s a good idea that seems to have been executed poorly and without consideration for player’s previous time and effort. Anyone at 600 should have had no real issues going into at least the first forge and beating it WITHOUT having to replay previous content for the umpteenth time first.

3 RepliesI didnt even buy the Anuall pass

Game devs and publishers nowadays are unfortunately willing to break their back in order to cater to content creators. Why:? One word Free marketing and influencial power. Ever since the rise of social media platforms like twitter , facebook , and youtube , twitch etc. This trend a has been a disaster in the making. What can kinda stop it hopefully article 13 on the gaming content creator side atleast here in europe. The power these people have over game devs and publishers has gone too and will only get worse and worse in the future. The destiny franchise and sea of thieves are perfect examples of that. Dont be surprised if gamedevs in the near future come out and say that they are making their next game exclusively for content creators. Will this game do well on twitch if not we are scrapping the idea etc". Dont believe me look at how the majority of gamedev/ publisher twitter account works. If average gamer joe tweets at a gamedev he has a better chance of winning the national lottery than getting a reply why because he is not important. The 60 bucks he spent on the latest game is a drop in the ocean to them. On the other hand if a content creator / streamer tweets at a gamedev or publisher its like a 911 call "we need this guy or gal right now free marketing we need free marketing etc. Thats the imbalance we see rightnow why because of the rise of social media platforms. Sad but true.

1 ReplyEscalation Protocol wasn't all that playable for most of us the first day either. I'm sensing a pattern....
-
I’m tired of “end game” being a fall back term for the state of them game.
-
2 RepliesWhy pay for content if your a solo player and locked out! Shit is unbeatable for a solo player unless your extremely lucky to get matched up with the right two people.

2 RepliesEdited by BeerMeYouWill: 12/10/2018 11:19:23 AMI'm actually enjoying it. Everyone just loves to complain today. News flash people life isn't fair or perfect. It's all about attitude and how you perceive things. A positive mind is contagious, give it a try...

5 RepliesPersonally I think Year Two Of Destiny 2 should be given out for free. We’ve already paid for Destiny 2. Then most paid the cost of a full game for Forsaken. Now they want another $35 for 3 “Annual Pass” DLC’s that are even worse than CoO. This is completely unacceptable. They are delivering even less content a year on Destiny and asking for more money. Year Two of Destiny 2 given out for free. Or I’m not returning. Your move Bungie.

Did you even play osiris?
-
content is too hard to make , so they started to replace content with RNG level raises
-
I think we should all get what we want all the time and everything should be perfect. I'm not entitled, you're entitled.
-
It's an expansion
-
I think that everything since the launch of destiny 2 has been a total disaster from one thing after another so you can add it to the pile
-
1 ReplyWhy the minimum power level to play. Not fair!
-
Biggest problem is not getting shit for the price (currently $35 USD). That's a price point higher than some previous expansions in D1. I understand it's a "different format," but that just seems like utter bs. If you look at the season plan it sounds dumb. This Balck Armory crap seems to be the most significant release ties to the annual pass. Everything else seems much more inane and stupid. Like that Joker's Wild shit a few months out. It sounds absolutely stupid and like a nothing event/season)wtfe they call it. At this point, if I were to buy the pass, I'd feel like I paid idiot tax similar to buying scratch off lottery tickets. Just seems like an app decision at this point

12 RepliesIt's only a cheap, pathetic, wimpy cash grab.
-
15 RepliesIt isn't a DLC, it's an expansion on end game content for what Bungie described as hobby players, as in people who want to play this.
-
7 RepliesIT'S. NOT. A. DLC. It's endgame content that is ADDED to the existing endgame. It doesn't replace it. It adds to it.
-
2 RepliesRegardless, you'll have to play old content anyway to get milestones to increase your power for the new level cap even if the first forge was accessible day 1.
-
17 RepliesIn Destiny 1 this was the April update that was for (free) https://www.vg247.com/2016/04/19/destinys-april-12-update-everything-you-need-to-know/ Can anyone tell me how this new DLC is better than D1 update and how it's actually worth its price knowing old content like the festival is being used to fill in that void of new content?
-
why are we complaining about eddi calling it dlc?
-
2 RepliesAfter a few days it does seem pointless No one has gotten the dlc weapon
-
1 ReplyJust QUIT playing that game. Its the best solution.
-
Totally agree, worst then Osiris, how was that a possibility, oh, it's Bungie, with there Activision Master. That makes since.
-
6 RepliesIt's not a dlc tho. It's an update of sort.
