I know everyone gave you crap for nerfing so much in D1, but the game is currently legitimately broken because of how powerful we are. I’m not necessarily saying to nerf stuff, but something has to happen so I’m not melting bosses in less than 5 seconds. I want a boss FIGHT, not massacre. It’s so hard to find teams for riven that don’t want to just rocket her to death, you should have fixed that, please don’t make stuff that exploitable in the future. Last wish could have been my favorite raid but it’s been soured by lacking an encounter worthy of being called an actual final boss.

1 ReplyEdited by whiskeychaser: 11/29/2018 2:26:09 PMWe weren't powerful during the first 30 days...it's a good system. Fighting the same bosses more than a few times can be very tedious if they are bullet sponges. New content more often is the only way to solve the problem you're describing. Otherwise it's either bullet sponges or immunity phases, take your pick.

Edited by Shrimps: 11/29/2018 10:26:19 PMonly time i have had real "boss fight" was in the shattered throne i was at 560 and all i could do was run around and smg everything was manged to beat but it was hard there aren't many things in this game that normally give me a challenge except for nightfall bosses but that doesn't mean we have to buff everything it put players like me and other at an extreme disadvantage making most things in the game to a player like me near impossible

Nerfing Jerry! No more nerfs!

Any game with some form of PVE, specifically RPG’s has some form of “power level” or another. And just like in Destiny when you reach the max level you become “overpowered”. No matter what Bungie does, we will be overpowered in some manner as long as there is a power level cap. Part of the reason right now that we are so OP is there are not currently any enemies that really rival our levels, not including Forge Saboteurs, really the only time our power is rivaled is “power level advantage enabled activities” such as Iron Banana. Realistically there is no problem with us being overpowered, even at 580+ enemies you still need to play smart or you can easily die. D2 is not even close to the first RPG style game and just about all others have a similar system, that is just how games like this work

Twaddle. Yes you might be powerful but many of us don’t feel that way. In fact many of my weapons feel a bit underpowered but that’s fine, I’ll just try harder in future. What you are asking for would affect everyone in game, not just you and whilst the better players may enjoy more of a challenge, it would just make things a whole lot less enjoyable for a sizeable proportion of the player base. And be careful what you wish for. Ask for a challenge, find it too hard...and then the crying begins as bosses need to be nerfed.

3 RepliesEquip your white starting armor and weapons if you think you’re too powerful. Don’t use any exotics. Don’t -blam!- everyone else. Nerf yourself.

3 RepliesEdited by TJ_Dot: 11/29/2018 5:24:40 AMToo bad those infected by Power creep want their precious shotgun forever and ever. They even think buffing everything else to that is a good idea even tho it's a recipe for disaster.
