    • The range is a little insane for a fusion. If it were up to me, telesto’s main focus would not be range, but the ability to set traps on zones, charges, etc. with the bolts.

    • I don't think the gun is broken per se, it's an exotic afterall. I think the Special Ammo Economy on Spawn is a bit busted and facilitates the gun becoming more centric in the PVP gamespace, just like Shotguns or any special weapon worth a damn.

    • Anyone that defends the telesto is ignoring that it does more damage and charges faster than it's RoF archetype. It literally stands alone in it's performance and ease of use. There is no reason it should charge faster than other high damage fusions while also doing more damage and having an effective kill range 3-4 times farther out.

        You've made the statement. The burden of proof is actually on you. And yes the gun is a little too strong currently. Not so much in killing potential, but in map control. Which in comp is much more important. It kills without needing every bolt to hit. It'll kill around corners and through barricades. A player can totally miss their shot, and the bolts laying on the ground will still kill you. Gives the using player dominance over lanes and the heavy spawn without exposing them to the enemy team. It's the only gun that actually rewards the player for not hitting their shots. The explosion in the bolts need to be reworked a little. Change them to timed detonation, instead of proximity. Should require at least 1 more bolt to hit for a kill. And could use at least a little damage fall off. Bolts that dont land on an enemy. Should only persist for a short time in pvp.

          • It beats most primary weapons at long range except for scouts but oh wait the maps have to big for that and it would promote camping, they should nerf dmg to primarys and do extra dmg to those holding shotguns.

            • It’s not. On the off chance I play some crucible in this terrible meta, I get killed by Luna’s, bygones or insert random shotgun 99% more often.

              • I actually tried using this supposed "clutch" weapon in PvP and its bad, I mean, it's not like Jade Rabbit bad, but it's certainly not the "op clutch weapon" that a lot of people think it is. By the time it finishes charging, I will already be at like 10 health from Lunas Howl or a god roll bygones, besides 90% of the time, you get a kill AFTER you die. How is that fun? Also, are we just gonna ignore the fact that it has two ammo?

                • Telesto is fine. The Luna/ Shotgun Apes are the only complainers. Look at their tracker stats, they are literally the ONLY ones complaining.

                • It is a ridiculously broken gun. It OHKO's at scout rifle ranges, sometimes even further if the enemy is by a wall. I honest to god cannot see why anyone would ever defend this gun.

                • It has a faster rof than our high impact fusions yet hits harder than they do. Has NO range drop off. Can get multi kills easily with 1 shot on grouped up enemies. Very accurate from the air. Can easily trade with players wielding hvy weapons. It's only weakness is its charge time in close quarters against shotguns. If I had to describe an effective hvy weapon that would be about right. It's going to the hvy slot where it belongs.

                  • It is super annoying. And I compare it to thorn from d1 where it was just so frustrating to go up against. It is easy mode. Wither you like it or not they will tweak it in some way.
