Remove catalyst from prestige into normal
Bungie you need to move the telosto and sleeper catalyst from prestige to normal. You should know by now no one is doing those raids. Not even thru LFG could i find ppl. Ive had a very difficult time getting the sleeper catalyst for the past month. The raid is easy but since forsaken came those raids are forgotten. Ive tried over 17 times and no drop. I helped someone unlock prestige mode and they got it on the 1st chest. I dont believe its about RNG. I believe you guys have preselected players to get things faster than others just to pressure players into the grind. I dont mind grinding but damn 4 weeks and no catalyst?? Why is my RNG so bad? I got a wayfarer title to prove my dedication to this game but im honestly getting tired of spending weeks after 1 item. Its depressing. Im about to burn my ps4 so i dont have to deal with your schemes. Ive noticed yall reward streamer more than the everyday player just like Activision did to trick players to buy COD tokens by giving out gear to your streamers.... Idk Maybe i should just log in once a week cause if i keep grinding for nothing i might as well stop playing. Sleeper Catalyst grind is destroying me mentally. Im tired of newbies getting it on thier 1st try. Im tired....

I would agree with sleeper it would have made sense to make it drop from ep on Mars. But I already have it so it's a moot point for me. Only ones I don't have I don't want

1 ReplyHonestly, I don’t think the raid lair catalysts belong there in any form. They aren’t raid related exotics. Legend of Acrius made sense to have its catalyst come from prestige Leviathan. Telesto and Sleeper? Not so much.

Edited by cixelsyd: 10/30/2018 10:43:04 PMso put the time and effort in like everyone that worked for it did. i'm seeing a lot of people on this thread complaining that could in all reality get together to do it. gasp- imagine that... but, no, you complain about not being able to do it and instead want bungie to give you everything. -edit- pro tip: you dont have to complete it, to get it. there are 4 mfing chests that you could run to get without a lot of difficulty. completion is NOT REQUIRED! that is 12(chests) chances a week without completing the whole raid, and 15(chests) if you do. assuming you have 3 characters at level.

Personally I think they should be linked directly to the weapon use. 1 mil kills and it's yours you mastered it.

I can definitely understand why we feel this way sometimes, but it just can’t be true. That being said, I’ve run my fair share of hard mode+ Crota’s in D1 and never got the year one crux. Never, ever. More recently, I’ve dropped at least a thousand resonant stems in search for the niflheim scout. It just won’t drop, I’ve received roughly a dozen of each other weapon, the jackal, kelvins, etc... But, not one scout. I still believe that it’s just really bad luck wrt that one aspect. But, when you need one weapon for a title and you’ve put time in, and rng should have dropped the scout after several dozen braytech engrams..., it does make even a reasonable, unbiased guardian wonder.

2 RepliesYou can simply admit SOS prestige is a hard raid. No one is willing to admit that. And no one is willing to form a group of randos because they know theyll spend 3+ hours trying to beat the boss because lack of coordination and timing. People simply want a carry even though most of the prestige players are done with SOS prestige. Form a group. Get your Sleeper catalyst and never look back.

See, it'd be nice if there were alternate ways to get them. "Kill the boss in prestige mode" or "Kill 1000x this shitty enemy type with this gun" or some garbo like that, that's tedious and not fun - but will get it for you in like ten times the amount of hours as a single clear.

(well the did in Y3 of D1) Not many people are willing to run that content for crappy low level gear coupled with a Hawthorne engram. Unless they want the catalysts too then you're screwed. I'll never get my Acrius because the reality is NOBODY wants to run Leviathan anymore... let alone the Raid lairs for the catalysts. If Bungie had an inkling of sense they would add a new Level Selection to the Raids everytime an update drops. Why can't I run Leviathan at 540+? They don't really have an inkling of sense though, do they? It takes over a year of players raging before they respond with anything.
