I laugh at anyone who says this game has gun skill, especially competitive.
Prove me otherwise when everyone and their mom runs around rocking shotguns.

Its true, shotgunning requires much less gun skill but requires skilled maneuverability.

Watching people play with vigilance wing, EP smg, graviton Lance, Luna’s Howl, Redrix. It’s about perks and weapon talents. You don’t see anyone going in to crucible with midnight coupe. As for heavy, it’s swords, grenade launchers or cluster bombs rocket launchers. Oh, let’s not forget the coming around a corner with shotgun and killing you from 20 feet away while you’re waiting for the 3rd headshot from trust..... Weapon perks/talents are what makes Destiny’s PVP, though skill is used by some very good people and I won’t knock them for being way better than myself, it’s still about the perks/talents on the weapons. You can look up anyone’s stats on destinytracker and see what weapons people use and what is the most used in crucible.
