Exactly what the title says. I see all these post that say 590+ know what to do and better have emblem or whisper or other stuff of the sort that just breeds a poor game community. And it’s not just one or two postings every once in a while. Literally every post is that way. Maybe I’m just being stupid but aren’t there any chill players left that don’t mind having a casual raid and don’t want a members only style of gaming. Like just be cool. Grab a buddy, guide a newb (I’m not a newb) maybe drink some beer while you raid and pull the stick out your Butt lol.
Sorry for the rant just annoyed.

Make Your Own Post
-
You can quite easily make your own lfg post, in less time it took you to complain about other people's.
-
5 clears on normal lev, under levelled. I wouldn't even bother complaining about people asking for 590 plus, you wouldn't last 5 seconds in the first encounter, go do some levelling then make your own group. Jesus....give me strength.

11 RepliesEdited by NegativeCycle: 10/11/2018 1:16:26 PMI knew it, I just knew before I even looked him up...... https://raid.report/ps/brandonpurp OP hasn't ever set a foot in the raid yet cries about people making requirements. Tries to say he isn't a "newb" and carries on about how poor the community is...lol Look I'l be brutally honest with you. The people that make those requirements are often highly experienced players that have put in their time learning and grinding and failing over and over when it first came out. They put their dedication in and learned the raid inside and out. They don't want some inexperienced player like you dragging down another run and wasting time. You want to play the raid? That's great you can make your own group with like minded players that have very little or no experience. Sorry that most people don't want to carry you, because that what it sounds like you want. Take the time and initiative like us "elitists" did and learn the raid, play it and understand it. That's how we all started I didn't have anyone to carry me through the raid when I was learning it.

Edited by London Lost Boy: 10/12/2018 2:37:06 PMI wouldn't class it as toxic, they're not coming on forums gobbing off about it. They're competitively tendering for a space on their raid team. Elitist perhaps.

3 RepliesMake your own group, say "I welcome all" in post title. Group will fill in seconds. Deal with the total nonsense of morons and underequipped people that don't listen. Gain understanding on why people have requirements.
-
I’m new to the raid myself. I posted for anyone yesterday, had about ten interested in a few mins. I only had a couple of hour so we only got to the vault but it was a fun chilled group and we had a laugh shoulder charging each other off the map. 😂 It’s an easy raid tbh, no need for the extreme requirements but if it’s their lobby that’s up to them.

MAKE YOUR OWN GROUP
-
If only you could make your own post and requirements 🤔.
-
Maybe you should just try to get better so you actually fit what people want. Not a hard concept. No one wants to spend time teaching you until you get used to it, and then try it 20 times until you get successfully carried. I learned the raid on my own, then got myself to 570 with milestones. Then beat the raid with a group of randoms. Don't be mad just because no one wants to play with you.
-
If only there was a way to create your own group with your own requirements 🤔
-
18 RepliesThe thing i find funny isnt even the requirements. Its the fact that everyone is like 'i just want to get it over with, get my loot and get out' Is that all people care about? The loot? Not you know, having fun with it? With the people youre doing it with? 'The raid is endgame, theres no time for enjoyment' oh youre enjoying the raid? Gtfo you dont belong in there. I get that people have shit to do and places to go but christ...seems like theres no fun anymore.
-
"Must be blah blah blah, I'm checking stats " these people have nothing to enjoy in life. I never join these groups, I'd rather play with a noob.
-
I think these posts are necessary. If im on lfg i dont want to carry anyone that has no idea....if i did i would post something like "casual last wish raid". Ive posted these before and for certain players they just wanna get it done for the 1000 voices exotic and the gear. At least theyre being honest. Start your own post if you dont want to read these.
-
I love when I see someone saying “be 590+” or “have 2.0+ k/d” and they don’t even meet their own requirements.
-
12 RepliesBeing a low light, inexperience, clueless scrub isn’t anybody’s fault but yours.
-
It's only toxic if they person posting it is only 550 or so. As you know they are then looking for a carry.
-
Which is worse, "toxic" raid requirements, or "toxic" forum whiners. 1) The light level requirement is pretty necessary for Riven (for the majority of the playerbase) as already stated by a multitude of players. At your light, (551) you will be able to do the first maybe 2-3 encounters before becoming completely useless damage-wise on mobs and will have to be replaced if the group wants to do a full run. This is fact. 2) "Know what do to." Why is this an issue for you? There's plenty of guides and youtube videos showing this. If you expect people to hold your hand and waste time explaining things that you could have learned on your own, that's totally on you. 3) "Must have whisper (or other weapons/gear) shows you at least put in some effort and don't expect to be carried. Also there's reasons for this. You wouldknow this if you've done any of the previous raids why certain weapons are considered "required" for a decently easy run for everyone. Whisper quest is available for everyone to do and at your light (551) can pretty much be solo'd at that point. Again, totally on you. If you meet the prior three requirements, having an emblem or not shouldn't matter and most likely doesn't. being annoyed because you can't do ENDGAME content when you haven't reached endgame status is also on you and you alone.
-
Make your own group then. Got to be better than coming on here to piss and moan like a child.
-
Keep cry baby!!! 😂😂😂
-
MAKE. YOUR. OWN. GROUP. For crying out loud why does this ALWAYS come up. People dont want 550s cause they just cant do anything at riven 30 light under. Go on, make you own group of 550s and see how far you get. Theres nothing wrong with going in and doing the first couple checkpoints but people who want to get it done are going to want an absolute minimum of 570 and even it would be extremely difficult. Im all for taking people in who dont know what they are doing but if your that far underlight you're just going to hold everyone back.
-
i'm doing the last wish raid on the 14th, the requirements are 600+ light and 100+ completions WITH BE CHECKING STATS, these LFG posts are f-ing stupid lol
-
then make your own post, no one if forcing you to try and join these groups. i really don't get the argument that LFG posts with requirements are a bad thing, they are pretty much telling you up front that they are not a group you want to play with.
-
There’s plenty of chill players. These lists get really old man, just make your damn group and specify “chill players only”. All these posts sound like is the OP looking for a carry. I’m not saying that’s what you’re doing, I mean, I don’t know you. But that’s what they sound like.
-
Make your own post! Also... I see so many complaints "every post has 390+" and that's just sooo friggin bogus.

17 RepliesPeople who spent 20 plus hours learning it, want to run with others that did the same. Anyone can build a team. It also depends on the raid. I loved sos, I helped or taught many. This raid is pretty boring. If I run it much going forward, it will be with friends and I will want quick easy runs. I don’t see why that’s a bad thing. It seems many just don’t want to put in the time to learn that those before them did. They wait and expect carries.
