Is EP glitched right now? I have been doing it randomly all week and each time the boss dropped a purple engram, it was for open world armor that has nothing to do with EP. Why on earth would EP bosses be giving me open world armor? I thought the whole reason for grinding EP was to get EP weapon drops. I have been grinding EP for months without a single weapon drop. I understand Bungie wants you to have a bit of excitement when you finally get that desired weapon drop, but this is just sad, disappointing and not really fun. There needs to be a balance. Too easy is not good, but neither is too difficult. Your effort and patience should eventually pay off. It shouldn’t be a constant stream of disappointment. Not to mention this has nothing to do with skill and is rather based on pure luck. Anyway, is this the new way EP is supposed to work? It doesn’t even drop EP gear anymore and instead gives you open world armor? Thoroughly confused. Could someone please clear this up.
