Hello, Are you receiving any crash reports? They'd be located in a file somewhere similar to program files/Destiny 2/temp/crash_folder/pc_x64/crash_folder (random numbers)/crash_info.txt.

No. I have looked many times and there is no crash folder nor a Temp folder. The game just freeze, white-screen and ask to either close the program or wait for response. That it no report no, error code nothing.

  • Ok. Can you run a DXDiag report and share the results?
1. To find this information, press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, enter this command “dxdiag”, no quotation marks. 2. Click on “save all information”. • a) Save the file to a location you can easily find. • b) Open the saved file to view the report. 3. Copy text from saved file to preferred third-party text dump website (i.e. PasteBin, DumpTxt) and share link here.
• Thank you. Do you have two GPUs? (Sometimes these reports can accidentally list the same card twice.) If you do have two, are you running SLI? If only one GPU, are you running any GPU utilities such as MSI Afterburner? Are Windows and DirectX fully up to date?

  • One GPU. I found an old MSI Afterburner file that was hidden within my Program folder called MSI ODD monitor. I manage to delete that. I have DirectX 11.

  • Your report must have re-listed your Nvidia card over the Intel card, because I didn't see an Intel card at all. To make sure, have you set your Nvidia card as your dedicated GPU for Destiny 2?

  • It would be in the Nvidia Control Panel application. You can open it by right clicking on an empty space on your desktop then selecting it.

  • It wasn't in the Manage 3D settings but it is now. I believe it has always been dedicated to my Nvidia Card
