This gun is sooo underwhelming and not good. Its explosive shadow perk rarely activates, it does hardly any damage on the off chance it procs. The shots alone dont do much even to taken. I got maybe 70 damage on a medium blocker per headshot. Those numbers aren't great. Malfeasance needs a buff and I hope it comes soon

1 ReplyMalfeasance at its core is a copy of Trust, except a larger mag and more stability. In fact, it feels exactly like using a Trust in that the exotic perk is almost useless. Tested in crucible, they do the same body/headshot damage. Trust gets the edge up in that it can have rolls that make it better than Malfeasance in most situations. Explosive payload on Trust alone makes it more effective at range. Really hoping they do SOMETHING to make it better so that it doesn't just feel like a legendary taking up an exotic slot.

Honestly I feel if the explosions radius was increased and the explosion would proc every 3 shots that the gun would be amazing. Viable in both PVE and PVP...

There should be a higher damage explosion on 3 shots and 3 ticks of 5 damage over time.. not game breaking but worthy of an exotic of this importance. At the moment it’s just a exotic firefly but possibly a worse version.

glad it sucks, by the time they fix it maybe the majority of the playerbase will have a decent shot at actually getting it, -blam!-ing RNG bullshit and stupid requirements.

I think if they were to make the perk activate every 2 shot instead of 5 shots then the gun will a good exotic because 5 shots its a bit to much, or even at least make it to wear it procs every 3 shots if 2 shots is op.

I already knew it was going to be underwhelming. -Useless for killing mobs of ads compared to AoS -Useless for killing orange bars compared to IKELOS SG or any sniper -Useless for taking up an exotic slot compared to SS So just another vault queen that I will only keep on my character to help raise my light level. At least until I get a higher drop...

2 RepliesIts not a bad handcannon, its not a boss killer. Use it on orange bars, it tears them because its a 180.

3 RepliesIt's perk needs to proc every 4 shots, they can reduce its mag by 3 to compensate.
