One shot mechanics, why not hunters?

So how is it that Titans can bash and slam, warlocks can cook grenades, but hunters.....???? I have always been a hunter and have noticed that bungie has always preffered titans and warlocks over hunters. The game isn't balanced at all, the fact that everyone argues hunters are overpowered are literally full of it. If you want to prove how good you are at destiny, make a hunter and live through it like we do. All I'm saying is if we changed throwing knives to one shot mechanics like every other class, we would see a giant shift in community focus on " how hunters are broken and over powered". Smh, I just want the game to be balanced. Bungie if you're reading this, stop choosing titans over everything else.

    Where were you during the wormhusk/arc strider meta?... Gemini jesters? I was up against 6 arc striders every match. Was this not Bungie catering to hunters? How can you say Bungie are always on titans and warlocks side after the past meta? Warlocks have one node on one class that lets you cook grenades, only one and this can easily be dodged. Titans have ohk shoulder charge because of the new ttk. Hunters don't need ohk moves because their armor are set for PvP with mobility and resilience and other classes struggle with the two. They also have the best jump which you can use mid combat quite effectively. Simply said, hunters have the best stats/passives that are great for PvP and warlock/titans have some abilities that you can use every minute or so. Plus hunters also have the best looking armor, have you seen warlocks? I would love a set of hunter armor for my ugly warlock to wear.

    • Im not saying hunters are OP but if you've got a solid set of thumbs and good aim then I would say hunter comes out on top. Especially now with Icarus mod to improve their already good aerial game.

          • Just posted this in another thread too, but it is relevant here as well: They should go back to like D1 was where a solar hunter's throwing knife is a OHK if you have the build with "Explosive Knife" on. Also, trip mines should stick to people, there is no tracking or aim assist. A trip mine stick is 100% skill and without that ability, trip mines are useless.

          • I’m just confused as to why Titans have a throwable melee that instantly refills when you pick it back up, but Hunter throwing knives just...disappear on contact? Makes no sense

            • Bottom tree gunslinger should be one hit kill but that’s it . Just like d1 . It’s disappointing to have two other classes with one hit kills running around all the time . It’s not a problem for me . But it is unbalanced

              • Hunters need a sprinting round house kick that stuns and uses the melee charge, it should be just enough to take down a shield. That way you have the element of surprise and can light them up. It would be equivalent of the Titan shoulder charge and warlock grenade charge.

                • "Bungie has always preferred warlocks and Titans" man y'all hunters ignorant from day 1 of D1... you know for the first year of Destiny on average both hunter subclasses arcblade and gunslinger were the only classes with above 1.0 KD in. Crucible? That's a fact. Another fact is the only budget they spent on a voice actor was for the hunter vanguard who has always gotten the most love. You're daft if you think they prefer locks and Titans...

                  • Sure...you want OHK melee? Then Bungie should make Titan agile, can be invisible like Hunter. Then there is no different between Hunter and Titan. Hunter is weak but agile like Squirrel. The strong key for hunter is Gun play. Easy to land precision hit. Easy to sneak out...assassin. Titan just like a tank. Faster than Squirrel but harder to make turn. If you want OHK Melee...play Titan. And if you play Titan...please don't cry here about it's sluggish movements and asking about invisibility.

                    • I'd like throwing knives to do more damage. I think the main issue, is currently how quickly Titans can cross a map. I can be clear of enemies, aim downna lame with my sniper with a team mate behind me. Look for 2 seconds, unscope and get shoulder charged. Its forced me to pull a shotgun. GG neutral game is total balls because of their refusal to make throwing knife any good. Thank god blade barrage is fun. Too bad when you want to use your throwing knife you'll usually land one knife and do 37/49 damage.

                          "Bungie favors titans and warlocks"- this is a joke right? Have you ever wondered why hunters got nerfed the most throughout destiny? It's because they were grossly over powered. You're complaining about a 1 hit attack, it's quite literally the only thing titans even have as neutral game and it's still a totally neutered version of its former self and warlocks need to plan ahead to use their "1 hit". Warlocks have a myriad of crazy attacks, but hunters, jesus dude, "they hate hunters". Alright, lets go over some stuff that hunters can do. *PVP BASED OBVIOUSLY* The ability to lock down entire rooms and shut down any super, the ability to go invisible and see thru walls indefinitely, they have a throwable melee that damages, blinds, slows, can be set as a trap AND shows up on enemy radar as a nearby threat, tricking people into thinking you are right there, instantly bail out of an encounter and go invis or side step and completely reload your weapon. They are the only class in the game that can insta kill from across the map with their super, have the ability to have damn near unlimited throwable melees as well as having an AOE throwable melee, heat seeking grenades, ability to track damaged enemies thru walls. They have the most vertical jump in game, allowing for absolutely ridiculous jukes. More aoe grenades that can actually chain damage, arguably the best roaming super in the game, having a concusion grenade for a melee, the ability to not only block, but reflect all incoming damage while simultaneously making their super 3x stronger. This is ALL without any exotic armors. But yea, bungie hates hunters. As for your last line, they chose titans over everything else huh? Let's look at all the cool shit titans have. 1.Shoulder charge 2.?????? Its obvious you made this post because someone shoulder charged you and you're all bent out of shape about it.

                          • Hunters are by FAR the best class to use in PVP. You shouldn’t complain. Hunters really are structured more for PVP and the others for PVE
