How tf are you in Dreaming City and don't know how to make Taken Blight heroic?

7 RepliesOh, I know how to make them Heroic. I just don't care. It takes more effort to get the same rewards and slightly more XP. To me, it just isn't worth it.

3 RepliesBelieve it or not: It IS easier to take down the center blight when you're at the third wave. I used to try and cram everything into it first wave, but if you wait till the last one you can one shot it with Wardcliff.

Not going to lie, it had me off my chair laughing when there were guardians killing the taken. What did it is when this lone Titan had a Warcliff Coil and shot it at the taken point blank. One or two rockets came out before he sizzled away. You can't write a script for what some of these people do.

This ^^ I saw 4 level 50 550+ power guardians trying to do that PE. They failed making it heroic and then all turned on one another. Hilarious shit that this still happens

1 Reply1. New players who don't know how. 2. Veteran players who are too low a level, and would get eaten alive by adds trying. The rewards aren't worth the risk unless you're trying to get the triumph.....or trying to complete the heroic pub event bounty. I was in the 5-teens when I first unlocked the Dreaming City on my main character, and I was absolutely getting smacked around trying to turn that event heroic. Especially when the Taken Captains started spawning in.... Because if they weren't one-shotting you with melee attacks they were one-shotting you with the blinding snot attacks. It wasn't until I got to about the 530s that I was durable enough to even THINK about trying to turn that event heroic.

Also the "complete two public events" bounty doesn't help this. I played with a guy the other day who just wanted to do them normal to get the Bounty done faster. LAME. The Bounty should be removed and the one for heroics should be the only bounty.

What gets me is the PE on the tangled shore, the one with the prisoner drop pod that you have to freeze. I’ll be working it, smash a couple freeze bomb things on to the boss when a rando comes by and destroys him. Surely they can see I’m doing something over here by the pod, right? I mean, really, do they think I’m avoiding the boss to stand over here and just randomly shoot vents?

Was just running around in the Dreaming City with a clan mate when that PE started. I saw him shooting everything but the big blight. “What are you doing?? Are you seriously one of [i]those[/i] guys? Dip into the little blights, dip out and shoot the big blight.” Lol 😂 “Oh, is that how it works?” He’s no noob by any means, but he had no idea how to trigger the heroic. I was a bit surprised honestly.

I saw a guy this week with an Ikelos shotty full on ape those blights. Tbf he took them out very quickly!
