Previously provided information:
We are investigating issues with weekly challenges and players receiving powerful rewards. This is an issue with the user interface, rather than the milestone. You can still earn your powerful rewards (and earn them once this week). - added 9/8/2018
Now they are saying:
Weekly Challenges did reset at 5 PM PDT Saturday instead of at the Weekly Reset. Due to this issue they will not reset again at the Weekly Reset on Tuesday at 10 AM PDT. This will impact the acquisition of Powerful Rewards depending on when players completed the impacted Weekly Challenges.
So if you have done the milestones again you will not be getting any powerful rewards this week!! given that Bungie told everyone a few days ago that it was a UI problem and it was fine to go ahead and do them I think Bungie should reset the milestones even if that means they need to take the servers down for an hour for maintenance.
I think this is something they should really look into fixing for the Tuesday reset due to the release of the raid on Friday!

Told you they'd fix it.

1 ReplyJust confirmed, Thursday Bungie will be doing a reset of the affected weekly challenges. We will have the ability to get the powerful engrams.
-
2 RepliesAgree. It’s so confusing now. Just have it once like it used to be
-
33 RepliesThey should give everyone 3 prime engrams.
-
1 ReplySo we get punished due to their mistake, I did all these reset early weekly's and they were all normal 500 drops. And because of their mistake we will not be able to do them again this week, way to go Bungie, way to flippin go. Listen to the community you say but you do squat and instead do an easy fix of do nothing. You can fix a raid chest glitch and prime engram boosting but when it comes to something which impacts on players getting their power level up but can't due to your mistake you just sit around and do jack

A company with good customer service would have sent an few powerful engrams to everyone's account for compensation. Bungie is so hyper focused on making sure the leveling process is drawn out as much as possible though that they would never consider doing that. It's funny because the things Bungie could do to clam the storms and gain people's respect back are so small and yet so lost on this company. I think at some point all of this will catch up with them and maybe we will see it in Destiny 3 sales and the new IP they are working on?
-
8 RepliesThis is why it's important to play test things bungie. Seriously why should we be punished for your -blam!- ups?
-
At the very least they could reimburse the bugged powerful engrams.
-
1 ReplyDefinitely should do a hard reset on everyone's milestones. This is their mistake not ours.
-
2 RepliesBump. Why should we be penalized for Bungie's mistake, we were simply just playing the game. Many people are trying to get raid-ready....did they forget about that?
-
1 ReplyEdited by Dude! HE'S ONE: 9/11/2018 4:46:44 PMWait a second. So they -blam!-ed up, while was doing my activities as normal, which btw rewarded me 500 light "powerful" engrams and now I'm no longer eligible for this week's rewards for just because I happened to play the game over the weekend. How the hell does that make sense. This company is a -blam!-ing joke. Greedy business practices followed by horrendous bugs. Btw to anyone reading this, you should try Telesto at the Blind Well. You'll see some... shocking results, wp QA ^_^
-
Yep getting screwed for playing the game seems pretty dumb. Not to mention getting screwed on my offering as well.
-
Edited by Nu Lycan: 9/12/2018 2:07:32 PMUpvoted. This seriously screws over weekend warriors. Imagine getting on Destiny 2 on Saturday, doing a few milestones, and then not only getting glitched rewards at 500 light but also being told you won't reset on Tuesday. Screw that

5 RepliesI actually asked them in that tweet. they responded saying yes its a UI bug. So they lied. and based on their lie. Many players have now lost out. All players that completed should just get a prime engram sent to their postmaster for each of the ones they were affected by.
-
2 RepliesOf course they should reset them. I heard of the previous bug. So I did three things today (one being the bounty for oracle) that is supposed to give powerful rewards - none of these I got to last week. And I got all 500's for them. That means I missed 3 the first week and 3 the second week. That's 6 missed powerful rewards. To top it off, I got 3 powerful warlock bonds as my only rewards. Everything else has been a prime engram.

1 ReplyBug that speeds up player progression: DEFCON1, must fix immediately. Bug that slows player progression: We didn’t mean that to happen, but weCANT fix it, so nothing to see, just move along and bend over.
-
1 Replyupvoted this was their fault not ours
-
Punish those who did dailies on saturday and let those guys the did the prime engram exploit get away with it. good old bungie
-
6 RepliesIf this is an intentional punishment it's Ludacris, it's basically like saying fxck you. You shouldn't of played our game those days. Plus powerful gear wasn't dropping anyways! Idk it's just stupid especially cause a lot of ppl were counting on it to prep for their raid attempt. But I'm still unclear if this is intentional on their part or not. If it is idk if it's a balancing attempt or a punishment for their mistake. But I'm pretty sure majority of players will be affected

1 ReplyStop whinning for sake of God. Try enjoy the game you will get your 600 light during max 1 month anyway. Come on ^^
-
1 ReplyPerhaps Bungie found the issue, realized it would take a client patch, knew that to make the patch, test it, and get it approved by Microsoft and Sony it would take more time than a few days and thus are letting us know ahead of time?
-
15 RepliesCAN SOMEBODY TEACH ME HOW TO MAKE A POST PLZ. I've experienced a lot of problems and a lot of bugs in forsaken but every time I try to make a post it doesn't let me post, I've owned every single bungie game that's ever been out. Let me post!!!
-
1 ReplyOnce again Bungie choose to lie to it's community and then punish player base for their own mistakes.
-
2 RepliesGIVE US OUR RESET, I literally quit D2 now you convince me to come back and you tell me I get no rewards this week AND I won’t be prepared for your raid... this company blows my mind with the level of incompetence they showcase
-
1 ReplyTuesday and they did what they said they would. Somehow I don't think they really care. This has to be one of the biggest upvoted post of all time on here and yet nothing from them. They know people will continue to play anyways so why change it. I folded and bought Forsaken which is awesome. If this stuff continues though anymore i'm out for the seasons pass. This is just bad all around.

i am realy starting to regret spending all that money on this **** company.. i i treated my customers like this i would be in jail now
