Crucible is worse than before
I'm not saying this cause im bad - i still drop 5,0 efficiencies in quickplay easy. But it's so dumb there is literally no more skill involved. Comp is even worse than quickplay, everyone just spamming grenadelaunchers shotties rockets etc. Having maybe one handcannon fight in an entire game. How can you even call that competitive?

7 RepliesI couldn't agree more with you bro. This crucible is pure regression. Tactical PvP is dead for the sake of "having a faster PvP" which is not fun at all. Made worse by the shotguns fest.

1 ReplyPersonally I think D2's PvP is much better since the update. Sure there are alot more shotguns, grenade launchers and fusion rifles but I also see just as many primary weapons. I'm normally an auto rifle user but here I am enjoying my Ten Paces!

3 RepliesD2 vanilla was competitive but that's not what most of us want from Destiny. Destiny has always been about crazy chaotic gameplay with overpowered weapons and abilities. Within that chaos, there are opportunities for skills to shine, but it IS chaos and in that sense it won't be as balanced and competitive as year 1. If you accept it for what it is and accept that sometimes you'll die for nonsensical reasons, you can have a lot of fun with it.

I hadn't played crucible for about 5 months.... i enjoyed it when i was playing so thought i'd pick it up again. OMG...back to Destiny 1 shotgun one-shot-kill fest. The only thing thats missing is camping snipers. Boeerrrrring. What is it with Bungie? OK... people were moaning about TTK and how the more 'team based' approach in early Destiny 2 was cramping their style... fair enough.... have a mode for that type of player. But to just make it hard for peeps who liked the early Destiny 2 format rather than the uber-quick-reflex-auto-win doesn't seem sensible... does it?

Ive been doing way better than before. I don't see much team shooting with gravitons anymore and I get a bunch of idiots rushing in with shotties, so easy kills for me.

1 ReplyThe real issue is connectivity and that Destiny is a pretty dead game that only hardcore players play. You can jump onto Battlefield and it's like random Dads and people just messing around, but Destiny is full of sweaty streamers and clans and no casuals really play it anymore. So that's what you're gonna get.

1 ReplyI haven’t played crucible in like a yr. I played one game the other day got like 19 kills and 3.17 or something. I used nothing but a pulse rifle. Didn’t bother to even try to get heavy and only used my super once . People that are complaining are just pathetic. Didn’t get killed with a shotgun once and only got killed with telesto one time

I actually had fun playing my 5 games today, first time in a long while I've enjoyed PvP. I pulled a shock and awe out of the collections tab, it seemed to deal with thumbless shotgun rushers quite well.
