9 RepliesGuns are definitely fine without gun control. Just check the news, clearly there are no problems at all with guns. We shouldn’t be controlling them at all.

2 RepliesThe more important question is why are we STILL even having this conversation? We spent 8 years listening to Obama's gonna take ur guns. Yet, in his total time in office, there was not even one piece of propsed gun control legislation, not one. In fact, the only gun related legislation, which Obama signed into law, expanded open carry in national parks. Certainly, this should have made pro-gunners happy. Today, we have a government totally controlled by the Republican party, which is ardently pro-gun. Now it would seem that common sense would say that if there was no control legislation passed under Obama, certainly there will be none now. All that being said, it seems that all the hysterics and whining about control this and gun control that, is not only completely baseless, but also completely unsupported by the political reality of our country's government. It is my belief, being that gun sales have risen year after year, that the continued propaganda about gun control being on our doorstep is nothing more than a marketing ploy by the gun manufacturers. After pretty much 10 years of hearing the same thing, and it never ever happening, it would seem someone would say stop wait, we have heard this for years and it has not happened, nor has it even come close to happening. However, years after year we have to hear the same whining, and yet no control. For goodness sake already, give it a rest, 10 years of hearing to same old song and dance is more than enough.

We need to take away all the guns and then give them to Communists so they can most effectively seize the means of production

2 RepliesHitler took the guns, Mao took the guns,Stalin took the guns

33 RepliesSo more off-duty police officers can come home.....enter the WRONG apartment thinking its theirs....and shoot the occupant that they've mistaken for an "intruder"? Yeah. Sign me up.

Damn right

3 RepliesWe need the armed populace to be better educated about gun safety. Most school shootings are committed by kids who are using weapons their parents got legally. If the parents locked them up properly then it wouldn’t of happened. Don’t give your kids access to guns until your sure they’re stable enough to handle them. And don’t give them the passcode to the safe. If they want to use it then they’ll need to come to you.

6 RepliesEducation does not keep guns out of the hands of people willing to kill others or mentally handicapped individuals. The Second Amendment needs to be examined in a contemporary, objective light.
-
17 Replies2nd Amendment should be expanded. Legally requiring all able bodied persons (able bodied meaning both physically and mentally) with a completely clean record, to own and conceal or open carry a firearm so they can protect the state of themselves and others from the threat of rogue gunmen and other threats.
-
4 Replies
the only gun control I need to two hands.
for real, better education and actually treating mental health disorders for what they are would reduce the gun violence here.
-
How the heck are you supposed to get a crit in the crucible If your guns stability is 0?

10 RepliesThe constitution states that we have them for protection against a tyrannical government. One of the first steps of becoming that is trying to take that right away. It states that the right to bare arms shall not be infringed. Do you really think you will be safer if you do not have the right to defend yourself?

5 RepliesEdited by DINO DELUSIONAL: 9/9/2018 4:49:06 AMI don't think any kind of civilian legal gun should be banned, because why can't I defend myself, my family, hunt for food if I have to, or go have fun at the range all because of the pathetic excuse of mass shootings as an example of why we need gun control. Why do we even blame an inanimate object instead of the person? That for sure will never be answered.
-
Meanwhile people aren’t. We need people control bad...
-
5 RepliesFor starters, I slightly agree with you. The gun is never in the wrong, merely the person wielding it. I think it would be a good idea to increase regulations for buying a gun, not owning one. The regulations would be things that would generally be expected. State of health checks, state of mental health checks, etc. All the people who say mags need to be reduced, have a point. I don't really see too big of a reason to reduce mage size to extremely small amounts, but in some cases, it would be safer.

4 RepliesIf you could prove that with a non partisan study from the CDC I would believe you. But since the NRA lobbied to make it illegal for the CDC to study gun violence, you can't. Because gun nuts are horrified of being proven wrong.

18 RepliesI don't think there should be any changes except for much stricter background checks and the legal age to be able to buy a gun bumped up to 25.

4 RepliesYeah we do.
