If You Can't Handle Getting 5 Invader Kills...
You simply don't deserve the Ace of Spades. If you can't handle 5 measily little kills without complaining you don't want it bad enough. Plain and simple. This is one of the first guns requiring just an ounce of skill to obtain. You can't be carried to it, and I personally think its fair.
I've carried alot of people for Whisper, Acrius, and the likes. Its not about elitism, I've done more for this community than 99% of you guys trying to mob this post lmao its just nice to have a gun locked behind skill. Again, just my opinion.

My pvp skill is sub par and I finished it. Running the ace in the hole mission in a few.. use the strum and drank , charge all the bullets and wait , it’ll tap em out no problem

The only problem is people try to do the quest and don’t care to actually play the game mode. When I was doing the chaperone quest, I didn’t even try to kill the prime evil.

The problem is simply a matter of patience. If you can wait it out over a long enough timeframe then you'll get those 5 handcannon kills. It's not impossible, any scrub can get 5 hand cannon kills If you have the ability to play the long game Remember guardians, patience is a virtue

Some of us are violently opposed to PVP and don't want anything to do with anything remotely PVP related. I would gladly trade those 5 invader headshot kills in gambit for a thousand Heroic Adventure completions or some other ( solo-able ) PVE activity.

I mean it's not that hard obviously and I don't have a problem at all with the requirement. Hell I miss exotic quests like the OG thorn quest. It is kind of a pain though when all anyone does when they invade is hide in the furthest corner of the map with sleeper.

I agree with that if you don't do it you don't get it. I don't think it takes skill, it takes luck and a lot of it. Meaning I found you had to be in the right place at the right time to have a "shot" at getting a kill -pun intended. Cause honestly locating the enemy is half the battle. I'm sure there are those it took all of one match - kudos to them. It took me many, but I have it. it's fun to use you want it, stay with it.

I did it in 2 matches with a Y2 Better Devils. Get a couple friends together and coordinate call outs. It really isn’t that hard.

Brings me back to d1 grinding out 5 bountys with the possibility of getting a exotic quest then having to grind your ass off for the quest its self. Like I said in another post. bungie dangles that carrot and people want it so bad, but come to forums to vent their frustration and then all the elitist come and rub salt on their wounds. It's not about whether it's hard or not it's about how you have to get the item. If I had to do 100 nightfalls just to get a weapon I wouldn't have a problem, but doing pvp when I am not here to play pvp is the problem for allot of people. The same can be said for anyone that does not like pve. both side should have different option for all exotic quests. It's not going to change either way. I just choose not to do the quests if they have pvp in them as a requirement.

1 ReplyMe personally, I think that the wording on the quest step needs to be better. It's confusing and doesn't reflect the actual step. Beyond that, don't try to rush it. Let it come naturally and it'll happen. It's been 3 days after all. People are trying to grind mercilessly for everything and they're going to run out of content as usual.

4 RepliesOkay, there are a lot of childish back and forth arguements but I gotta say I'm on the side of the people who say the main gun that the campaign revolves around shouldnt be locked behind a "skill" wall as they say. Think about it like an adult. We all paid anywhere from $40-$80 to play this new content. So why alienate the guys that have no skill in this way? I'm sure some elitist douche will start an arguement but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
