If You Can't Handle Getting 5 Invader Kills...
You simply don't deserve the Ace of Spades. If you can't handle 5 measily little kills without complaining you don't want it bad enough. Plain and simple. This is one of the first guns requiring just an ounce of skill to obtain. You can't be carried to it, and I personally think its fair.
I've carried alot of people for Whisper, Acrius, and the likes. Its not about elitism, I've done more for this community than 99% of you guys trying to mob this post lmao its just nice to have a gun locked behind skill. Again, just my opinion.

Took some work. But doable. Didn’t team up either. Helps to invade to learn the spawn spots when they come through. Have that Sturm on overcharge and have at it. So many kill steals by teammates though.

6 RepliesWell and what’s more you need to get handcannon kills in each game mode right, PVE, PVP, Gambit I mean what’s the big deal? Nobody was this up in arms about the claymore? Ace is like the pinnacle of completing all parts of the game, if you don’t want to complete all parts fine you don’t get the gun But everyone is losing their mind right now it is insane to me! Equip Crimson and just play Gambit it’ll happen naturally. Same with crucible just equip the gun and you’ll get it; they all seem so pissed you cant just grind it out and get it today Simply play with a handcannon equipped and you’ll get the exotic hand cannon that’s it!

I like the Sturm/Drang overcharge strategy. Might employ that when I get to that stage of the quest, partly because I never use ‘em after I completed the masterwork.

A Precision Frame hand cannon like Crimson or West of Sunfall made this part of the quest super easy. I had the Gambit hand cannon Trust which is really good so had no problems with it.

7 RepliesI wouldn’t call it measly when your opponents are invading you with Colony, Sleeper, Snipers, and powerful supers that you have to contend with. Plus the fact that you’ve got to beat someone else’s to the punch to get the kill. I think people are having a hard time landing the killing blow and fighting off supers with just a hand cannon. It’s one of those quest steps that could either go poorly or well for you. So many other factors to be figured into the equation rather than just solely skill.

Gambit sucks hard, it’s boring as hell and I’ll only play for mile stone. Again another over hyped game mode that does not live up to it. So I really don’t want to grind 5 kills in it. PvP sucks from a raiders point of view, and will never be what bungie want it to be, ok I’m playing a little now for the full gear set bounty, after that it’s back to mile stone only. I deleted the quest and won’t do it unless it’s changed as it’s the most stupid thing bungie has done so far.... well apart from primary shotguns. Take your childish elitist PvP bull somewhere else and let the big boys talk.

Little tip: I got mine with Sturm and drang. Kill mobs with drang to overcharge multiple damage rounds in Sturm so you can 3 tap at pretty safe range. Managed to get 3 in just 1 match. Good luck, dont get too frustrated.

My pvp skill is sub par and I finished it. Running the ace in the hole mission in a few.. use the strum and drank , charge all the bullets and wait , it’ll tap em out no problem
