I am extremely disappointed with this subclass. Now, before i go on, forsaken has so far been amazing, and I think Bungie has knocked it out of the park.
That being said, Atomic Breach is an absolute disgrace of an ability. Why the f*ck is this not a full-on ranged attack? Warlocks are supposed to be the casters of the trio, so let them CAST. Instead we get a hyper generic, boring melee. The thing is, according to earlier tooltip text, this was originally a ranged attack. I feel like the same ass*ole who nerfed every class into the ground at the beginning of D2 got his grubby little fingers all over this subclass. "No that might be too powerful in crucible, can't have that" the jackass probably said. Not only that but the range on handheld supernova is pathetic. Again, the same prick probably chimed in saying "no, cant give anything unique, it might disbalance PvP." Seriously, screw that guy. He is making this game less than it can be. Unique things make the classes stronger and more fun.

3 RepliesAre you serious? This subclass has 1 hit grenades, blink, blink dodge in the super, a super AoE blast that requires no skill whatsoever to annihilate a full team specially indoors, a dedicated exotic that makes that super last long enough to get an easy 7th Column, another exotic that makes them capable of tanking a point blank shotgun blast while priming that 1 hit grenade, multiple ways to regen health, grenade recharge abilities, long range melee blast, access to zone control and seeking grenades. And Bungie just *fixed* its super damage with a huge damage buff. Not even hammer titans were this OP back in Taken King's launch.

lol upset with literally the strongest class in pvp ok

9 RepliesOn the flipside, I'm loving Attunement of Grace. Weapons of Light for me and nearby allies for high-fiving an enemy in the face? Yes please! Blessing of Light for anyone who wanders through my solar grenade? Tasty... Near invincibility and significant damage buffs for 30 seconds during super, with allies healing/empowering pumping my ability energy?! BUNGO PLS.

Dark matter almost never triggers with Handheld "supernova" (more like sprinkle nova)
-
2 RepliesCan’t be as bad as the new titan subclass.
-
3 RepliesBut it’s amazing. For once Warlock’s didn’t get a shit ass super.
-
1 Replyi haven't played with any new warlock subclasses but i agree, the warlock seems to have the worst melee period
-
6 RepliesSuper is beautiful I wreck with it in crucible.... give it a few days bro. It’s a high skill ceiling in pvp. Does its job in pve.
-
2 RepliesThe only part that I’m having a problem with is the super. The damage is INSANELY low compared to other supers and I think teleporting shouldn’t use energy.
-
3 RepliesNova warp isn't even a one shot in crucible.
-
I feel they need to tweak a things for it like mentioned above as well I don't like how you can jump above to avoid any damage, other than that enjoying very much
-
Attunement of fission is the void one right? If so the best thing about the subclass is the grenade and melee ability which are both pretty fun imo. The super is also fun, teleporting around to get close and exploding enemies. But it definitely needs a damage buff in pve and especially in pvp.
-
2 RepliesThe fact that you have to charge it makes it more challenging to use than other supers. Everything else is Press/Hold (-) to Kill.

4 RepliesEdited by ClovenTrack620: 9/6/2018 5:00:38 AMas a Void Lock & a huge fan of BlinK i was Very Hyped for Nova WarP, this Super is Fun to use but there's a few things that feel a little Off IMO Damage should be dealt Upon activation, even if it consumes Energy, just like the New Striker Super, if im Weak & Surrounded and i activate my Super in PVP, my opponent has more than enough time to put me down b4 im able to even perform the small explosion, The Left Stick on the controller should only dictate Directional Movement not the Teleportation ability, that way it wont interfere with the regular jump by ActivatinG Warp, RB/R1 allow you to Warp around just fine, no need for 2 different buttons performing the same Task Hovering around like a Stormcaller looks cool, but it feels like it wont let you gain momentum to use you regualr jump at its full capacity, for example when trying to Blink or Glide forward you won't cover as much DISTANCE as you normally would, yes the Warp ability compensates for that but, no super in the game should interfere with the Jump mechanic, not sure if it was intended to work this way but it feels like a Major Flaw, or maybe there are no Voidwalker Developers at Bungie that understand the True nature of this Subclass

1 ReplyWhat are you talking about? It's basically the Warlock version of Arcstrider.
-
7 RepliesI'm personally infuriated by its incompatibility with the Skull of Dire Ahamkara. Practically every subclass has one of these abilities where kills either extent it or give you back super energy, and the only exotic that does that for Void Warlocks just doesn't work because of cooourse it doesn't. I could personally feel good using this class if it did that but as it stands, the Attunement of Fission bores me to death. I could handle everything, the limited dodges, the IMO poor PVP applicability, the boring melee and passive, but the incompatibility with SoDA completely breaks the class for me.
-
2 RepliesWhy no ranged melee? Hammer Titan has a throw melee, Hunter with Throwing knives, Hunter with Smoke? Come on Bungie.
-
Here’s the fix. Let the nova blast be an extended melee. Charge this melee the same way you charge your grenades. Give this attunement some form of bloom

1 ReplyEdited by Vortx4: 9/6/2018 3:22:11 AMI personally think Attunement of Fission is a little bit of a letdown. It has some unanticipated issues that I hope Bungie will do something about. First, I’m actually a huge fan of Handheld Supernova. In PvE it’s just a fast-acting grenade to blow up all the enemies getting in your face, and in PvP it can one-hit-kill a Guardian that’s in between shotgun and fusion rifle range. I’ve already shut down plenty of shotgunners rushing me by throwing a Handheld Supernova in their face. The only problem with the perk is that unlike Attunement of Chaos grenades, it can’t be charged forever. It will cancel after three seconds of holding the grenade, even if you continue to hold down the button. That limits its potential in PvP because it will often decide to cancel on you the instant you want to use it and you’ll get killed. Atomic Breach is... meh. Like everyone else, I expected it to be a throwable melee. The way it is right now is fine, I guess, it does plenty of damage at least. But it’s not as good as something throwable like smoke or throwing knife. The super, Nova Warp, is good in PvE but I’ve found it often sucks in PvP. The time that it takes for you to charge up a killing blast on a guardian is enough time for them to run out of the range of said blast. So then you have to release it and catch up with them, but when you stop teleporting and start charging up another blast to kill the enemy guardian they can just run away again, and the cycle continues. It would be much better if you could teleport while charging up a blast. Dark matter sucks. It’s easily the worst part of the skill tree. I expected it to be something like Energy Drain in D1, but instead we got some kind of pathetic tiny chunk of health and minuscule amount of ability energy back. I got 5 kills with my grenade, and Dark Matter x 5 recharged about 2/3rds of my grenade. The perk might as well not exist for how useless it is. I don’t understand why Bungie is so terrified of bringing back something resembling The Hunger + Embrace the Void from D1. It was so much fun to use, and wasn’t overpowered, either. Oh well... just another opportunity wasted.

Aside from the...meh super, its good in pvp.
-
I wish they just made one for void walker where we can just run and slash like Arc Strider or spectral blades. Blinking is fine but it sucks you energy and charging the explosion can be annoying.
-
Wow, I'm a voidwalker main and I couldn't disagree more. The roaming super is brilliant. Everything else could be complete garbage (which it isn't) and it wouldn't matter in the slightest.
-
7 RepliesDude calm down lol. I think you're the only one that purely hates it. Handheld Supernova is fantastic especially for staggering a boss or clearing a small wave. The melee ability gives you a full x3 stack of dark matter if you hit the first enemy in a crowd. And you don't even have to charge a Nova while in the super to kill a guardian, you can just release the smaller explosion from just clicking right trigger.
-
The melee pushes away. As well as that if you melee and the explosion occurs you can land a body shot eith a 150 rpm hc and you will get the kill. At first i thought it sucks but after actually trying it it is phenomenally good.
