For all the Voidwalkers out there, try the new overcharged Axion Bolts.
Basically the title, overcharged axions are insanely good now. They have a massive detection radius, they track nearly as fast as someone sprinting, and have the potential to take out a guardian’s entire shield in one hit.
If you’re about to challenge someone in a gunfight just toss one of these grenades in the same zip code as the enemy and then push them. You can land just one or two body shots, and your grenade will do the rest! It reminds me of the Y1 Firebolt era.

The scatters are amazing with bloom. My team mate said "nice super man, well timed, thanks!". I said, "dude, that was my grenade". He said, "Im switching to scatters then". Fun to have my favorite nade back.

Forces people out of cover, stop people from chasing, great for single or group killings, and literally the best grenade in my opinion in D2 when used right.

I think I paid more attention to the weapons tweaks and buffs that I completely skimmed over the small grenade/ability changes. Good looking out, VoidBro. 👊[/i]

It’s about time. Destiny 1 axion bolts were by far the best grenades in the game. It’s sad that it took this long to upgrade that light show into something worth using.

4 RepliesOver all Voidwalker sucks ass in PVP. It was my go to in D1 but is blows now. Nades are weak, super is too slow, movement is too slow, melee is WAY TOO SLOW!!!! To make up for a truly crappy neutral game you have to use an exotic or maybe do what the OP says. To me it’s sad that the Voidwalker is in such bad PVP shape. PVE is a totally different matter but as far as PVP goes it sucks and needs a buff pretty bad.

They are indeed great right now. Spec for full nade recharge rate. Plus blink is super good at the moment. Paired with transversive steps for no reload, fast running.

They slay in PvE as well. You can take out entire trash mobs in one glorious chorus of purple light.

They murder in pve. It's disgusting. I was using scatter nades, but axion bolts are damn good right now.
