what happend to the design team for armor pieces?
arent u supposed to loke like a legend in destiny, bungie?
with this thing i feel like a wall outlet.
there are so many good looking fan art-armor sets in destiny, which look totaly badass,
why dont u copy them, instead of wall outlets [url][/url]

1 ReplyALL ARMOR SHOULD LOOK UNIQUE. Not copy paste. I can’t see why this is so difficult to understand for the design team. Truth is if there was Non legendary armor that looked cool I think more people would wear it just for the uniqueness. I have a full set of lame ass Hardy armor on my Titan that I’ll put on just for the fact that it doesn’t look like everything flippin else. It’s pretty lame but wearing something unique is kinda cool. Why Bungie can’t fill this simple gap is beyond me. Those are incredible designs you just shared. Thanks for sharing. Wish that guy worked for Bungie...

1 ReplyI agree somewhat. There are quite a few armor sets in the game that just make me go "why is this a thing". However, after searching early on in the game I found some sets I really like. My Hunter's main set is the Errant Knight chest, arms and helm, with the Optimacy Cloak and Lucky Pants (the best looking Hunter leg armor imo) with the Metro Shift shader. I think it's my favorite look I've ever had for my Hunter. I'm probably gonna keep wearing it in Forsaken because I love the look so much (I'll at least have random perks on my Lucky Pants). I also have the full Devastation Complex armor with Helm of Saint-14 with Metro Shift on my Titan and I like the look there as well. My Warlock's ok, just the New Monarchy helm, Optimacy arms and Starfire Protocol.

The Harrowed Chasm of Yuul was one of my favorite chest pieces from D1. I liked how you could mix armor and make a cool set, but that seems a lot more difficult in D2. The Robe of Optimacy is really the only one i can say i liked most, because i enjoy the thought of killing aliens in a pretty dress lol. The scroll goes well with the bond from New Monarchy in my opinion.

I guess they didn't want D2 armor to look too much like D1. But there are a lot of unattractive armor sets in D2. My warlock's Crota gear with the glowing ornaments... so spiffy.

My friend and i were having this exact conversation about armour more in particular the titan and warlock at focus but the main points we kept bringing up was what happen after destiny 1, there were such cool armour involved with raids and trials, now its so hard to find one item for each character to look half decent for destiny 2.
