TWO HOURS ON IO AND NO BLIGHTS!!! Wtf
Wtf bungie, how much time do you think people have to sit around half a day just to wait for the event to appear, and then you expect us who haven’t tried it to finish in a single run thru. At least make it spawn frequently on weekends since that’s all anyone is trying to do on IO...
Edit: yes i know it’s been out for a while, i was played by other games prior and only came back for solstice to prep for DLC and just haven’t found the time, so the time i do find I’d like to not be sitting around. And yes I could be doing other things, but since all i have left is raid stuff to do i can’t exactly just jump in and out of raid either.

Same was on IO from about 10h00 est to now practically 2 hours and I think it was 4 Cabal PE in a row .... just before it goes away 👍

That’s funny. I was doing the fury mission for nascent dawn and had the blight pop right up. Nobody was around.

Shut up and stop lying for attention. Edit: Proof is on my latest stream, as every carry has been recorded. On top of that Public Events are Global, so if I get a Blight, you did too.

1 ReplyJust my personal observation, I own a PS4Pro and Xbox1X with D2 in each, when the WotW quest first came out I did it on Ps4 countless times until I got it. Each time I failed and had to wait until another Blight PE spawned it took at the most 30 minutes if that. On avg, 15 minutes. Now on Xbox? I did it last night and we literally had to wait an hour for the blight. Had to listen to Ashir whine about "Cabal again"? I dont know how many times. Could it be with their PS exclusive deal that gives weapons, armor and strikes that Xbox doesn't get Bungie also tweaked the timing of Blight spawns in favor of Ps4?

I think it’s all down to luck on when the event spawns. I was able to do it within minutes of spawning in because I got lucky

1 ReplyI don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but anytime I would sit there for a max of ten minutes with no event, or cabal back to back. Go to orbit and come back in. Blight every time.

1 ReplyI do agree the time waited could be a bit tedious, but I still think it's more fair the Spindle in D1. While the mission was available for 24 hours whenever you wanted to try, it was only 24 hours. Say you cant get on that specific day to run a heroic mission or find a team to get a done, your gonna be waiting 3-4 for uour next opportunity. And while the jumping puzzle takes a try to 2 to get optimal speeds, the add rooms are much easier to clear then the encounter in D1.

It seems like everything with D2 was done specifically to piss people off. Like even the simplest of things they keep messing up. This can't be by design. No game developers go full -blam!- like this without reason. Tune in on September 4th, for the next evolution....."Forsaken"....

Yeah, this pretty much killed this quest for me. Waiting for the PE to start and that boss to spawn.... honestly -blam!- you bungie, what a waste of time. Been playing since y1, completed everything - this wait for it bullshit sucks. At least when it was black spindle day you could run it until you cleared it and it was so difficult in the beginning that it took hours of practice for me and my fire team! We didn't beat it the first night we tried it either, but when we finally did with 3 seconds left it was epic.

1 ReplyI don't get why it specifically isn't set to a schedule. One blight, one mining drill, one blight, one mining drill, so on and so forth. People who need to do events there for whatever reason can do mining drills, everyone else can do their blights.

4 RepliesThis kind of stuff is idiotic. The blights should be guaranteed every so often. Waiting for events that don’t happen (had three Cabal in a row earlier) is not fun. Video games are supposed to be fun.
